Like me, Solas would consider the Whine-akin Skywalker films to be fanfiction that Lucas wrote himself...bad fanfiction. ![]()

See, that would be a deal breaker for me*audible sigh* Perhaps it's time I find a new husband. Bet Solas would enjoy Star Wars...
I may have drabbles of a Star Wars AU for the Inquisition cast too. Totally don't have a problem!

Solas would like the original trilogy, but complain bitterly about how much the second trilogy lost its quality.

Whenever I have something I want to watch my hubby doesn't, I just announce, "I'm watching this. Feel free to find something else to do for the evening."
He's usually okay with that.
Haha! I suppose that works. But I'd feel bad doing that. However, this feeling is directly tied up with the fact that I hogged the TV for a solid 3 months during the worst of my Inquisition binge. I did warn him it would happen, but I kinda owe the poor guy.
You...he...it's possible not to like Star Wars? That's a thing? [is confused]
Solas would totally love Star Wars, were he in this AU.
I know. So much confusion.
I'm now trying to figure out who Solas would be in the Star Wars universe. Obi-Wan? Yeah. Obi-Wan. :3

Yes...Solas would be Obi-Wan because I have a huge crush on Ewan McGregor so it fits perfectly. In my head anyway...
Ewan..the only reason I watched the last three movies...

Gorgeous work as always, MTC! I'm particularly fond of the dead beaver hobo!Solas clutches in his bony paws. Hobo!Solas visits Canada, brings back national symbol for barista!Lavellan. (This will earn her love, once and for all.)
This was my horrible, crass joke about to how Solas is supposed to be into, um, beaver? Yes. I'm not sorry. But also high-five to all Canadians, because it's A Part of Our Heritage.
Solas would like the original trilogy, but complain bitterly about how much the second trilogy lost its quality.
And he would be right.
Oh man! I think he'd only just barely tolerate the original movies, while ruining everyone else's enjoyment of them by constantly pointing out that they're actually a blatant rip off of some incredibly obscure early sci-fi films, or the work of some French illustrator, or something.
Ewan is my oily, glittery, Platonic Ideal of Dirthamen.

*cough*
Ripoff of Western films, actually.
And he would also be able to name all the Japanese films these Westerns ripped off.

ACCEPTED.
Solas has written a long, dry, academic paper on how the Star Wars trilogy are actually a poor deconstruction of Metropolis by Fritz Lang. But then you see Solas' tiny room and it's filled floor to ceiling with Star Wars legos kept in meticulous condition in those plastic collection cases.

It was my Wardens! They insist that he's a madman because he doesn't understand why the blighted Darkspawn can't hold hands with the rest of the races and hum I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing. I love him, myself, but I can't convince him that the Blight is a bad, bad thing for the rest of Thedas.
Dirthamen rejects, spoilered for size:
The search continues.
Edit: Aaaaand I'm out of likes. The combination of Solas and Star Wars sucked them from my account with an audible whoosh. I like everything on this page I didn't write. ![]()

Not at all! For years I've tried to get my students to call me magister or magistra:
First day of class:
Me: You can call me Ms. Giton or by my first name if you want. (arches eyebrow) Or magister. The magister scribendi!
Students: . . .
Me: (nods sagely)
Students: . . .

I did that too. Not three months, more like three weeks. Until he was like, "I'm going to have to start playing it to get the TV back from you, aren't I?"
And that's pretty much how that went.
