This was my horrible, crass joke about to how Solas is supposed to be into, um, beaver? Yes. I'm not sorry. But also high-five to all Canadians, because it's A Part of Our Heritage.

 

Oh man! I think he'd only just barely tolerate the original movies, while ruining everyone else's enjoyment of them by constantly pointing out that they're actually a blatant rip off of some incredibly obscure early sci-fi films, or the work of some French illustrator, or something.

It was my Wardens!  They insist that he's a madman because he doesn't understand why the blighted Darkspawn can't hold hands with the rest of the races and hum I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.  I love him, myself, but I can't convince him that the Blight is a bad, bad thing for the rest of Thedas.

OHGOD. Serious flashback to grade 4 when my teacher made the class watch those A Part of Our Heritage shorts all day. I love them and I hate them and I love them...

 

It is our right as Canadians to use the power our national symbol holds to make others uncomfortable and/or in the pursuit of bad/dirty jokes. I salute thee, fellow Canuck.

Wrong side of the mountains. Its actually super mild in Vancouver BC. Alberta/Saskatchewan is where all the cold is at.
