*raises hand* It was me. One of my earliest hellspiral songs. It came on with my alarm in the morning soon after I finished and it stuck with me, like damn it just fits multiple stages.

My best friend has a running joke series in which he posts/sends me pictures of the most adorable kittens, puppies, and benign things like rolls of toilet paper along with the line "more intimidating than you". I play stabby rogue ladies but get compared in real life to kittens.

 

I related to both of them so much. And it's not that I lack a dark side, exactly, but I need to be really pushed (Liara in some ways exemplifies this), plus, you know, endless curiosity, a touch of awkwardness, always looking for solutions, new approaches, being loyal, and dependable, and rather studious. I think there was just tons of pain in my earlier years and I still managed to be the optimist. I am my own Mary Sue. Except not.

 

 

 

 

Hahah! I know, it's nuts. This has without a doubt been the fastest turn-around for obtaining a job I've ever experienced, by a long shot.

 

To elaborate, I sent in my application Friday afternoon, got a call back within a couple hours, had an interview arranged for the following day (Saturday), and was offered the job on the spot. When they asked me when I wanted to start, I said whenever suits them. So I have already received my employment contract and NDA and all that jazz, and start tomorrow.

 

So I'm now employed as a 3D Modeller for a VFX studio, working on feature films. *PINCHES SELF HARD*

 

So excited. SO EXCITED I COULD BARF. Thanks again for all the support, guys. You're the loveliest people in the loveliest thread.

Other than World of Thedas vol 2 and Jaws of Hakkon releasing on 3 more platforms in a couple of weeks, (just nearly wrote a couple of weekes - ha), there IS nothing. A lot of the WoT2 spec is in character threads, but some of it is spread out. I don't think we'll get any real hints at the future until after JoH is out for everyone.

and i noticed how clearly abelas pronounces it el-vhen not elven, as if they're two separate words

 

elgar means spirit, elana means spirited

 

i know the elven language is a sloppy awful disaster (me my you and your are all the same word? who thought that was a good idea?)

 

but i'm going to assume the EL prefix refers to spirit-y things

 

vhenan means heart, and i'm assuming the AN suffix refers to "place of"

 

just like Solasan and elvhenan and abelasan mean place of pride, the people and sorrow

so from this shady half ass line of speculation, i'm assuming that el-vhen means "spirit people"
