The closer I look at it, the more I think that's supposed to be a hood... Look at how it connects so neatly and perfectly to the collar. If that's supposed to be hair of some sort, it's a pretty bizarre style :\ 

 

Also, on an unrelated note:
I re-watched the "Stand Together" video () and when they introduce Sera, she bends over the (dead? sleeping?) body of a bald male elf that looks suspiciously like Solas at 0:39... maybe this has been discussed before, but what do you suppose the implications of that are??? 

 

Yes, that's the picture I was talking about. Some people seem to think it's hair and other people seem to think it isn't.

 

The elf in that video is speculated by some here to be an associate of Sera's from Friends of Red Jenny, rather than Solas. He is dressed the same way the smuggler Athenril and her friends are in DA2.

They said that if we have a mirror of transformation type object that we'll get it after launch.

 

That's disheartening :\ You'd think with all the extra time Bioware has had to develop DA:I they should be able to include that at launch... I remember how nice it was to have the Black Emporium DLC for DA:2 because as soon as the first cinematic cut scene with my first Hawke was shown, I was like "nope, she needs some more tweaks... and that eye shadow is garish!" and it was nice to be able to fix her. 

 

On topic: that fan art is beautiful. If Solas looks anything like that in the game, I certainly hope he's an LI...

with bioware you can never guessXD;;; anyway I'm sorry to hear about that, and it might not be, we're pretty convinced that he is, but bioware could change the attention to an advisor (like revealing scribbles) so it's not 100% but we're hoping that he might be next.

Yep we're all trying to be positive and hoping it's today, but Canada has a holiday tomorrow I think so if it's not today then probably later this week or the next.

It's not 100% confirmed we will get the info will be today, but from how things are getting revealed it is very likely to be this week. 

Fingers crossed for today though. ;)

You know, they may have wanted to let a bit more time go past for the reveal on Dorian to run its course and create discussion and interest before the information on Solas.   Their first ever gay male character was a pretty big deal so they wouldn't want some elf stealing his thunder now would they?    Especially if there is some really significant aspect to Solas that we haven't had before in an elf character.

Around 3 pm Eastern US time and 12 pm Pacific time if you're in any of those.

They actually didn't. They just said he was gay. We all assume he's a romance option.

Ah, no they have confirmed he is an LI now. On the Facebook page on the comments for Dorian's reveal on June 27th.

There was official confirmation on Facebook. I don't have the link or the pic but they stated that Dorian will be a romance option for a Male Inquisitor. Either the Twitter or the Dorian thread will have it.
