I know, it was foolish. For a time, I was blessed with dwelling in ignorant, sweet bliss of being all right; of one day seeing my heart in one piece again. It was a lie, of course. I lied to myself, and was so very, very wrong.

We should all do this when the optimism and hope for a happy ending with Solas we've planted is crushed to make way for a broken heart, a maelstrom of feels, utter, crushing tragedy, heartache, and whatever other agonizing sensation we're forced to endure. Except instead of that hell, we'll be entering the hell made because of Solas. Sounds lovely, doesn't it?

I pretty much expect to cry at Pixar films but Up and Toy Story 2 and 3....Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc? The worst at being the best at that. Brave also brought the tears for me. It made me miss my mom even though I had visited her not long before seeing it. Though we later had months where we couldn't see one another at all and then not much, since she was getting care and therapy for her illness and was in multiple facilities and almost wound up in permanent nursing care. I kind of couldnt watch Brave for a good while or mother related things.

 

Essentially, Pixar movies are just waiting for me to sink into a well of feelings.

The young man took a swig from the bottle of expensive Antivian brandy, 'I don't think Merrill even knows I exist.  Only got eyes for my sister she has.'  He passed the bottle to his drinking companion.

'My boyfriend grabbed my butt and left me in a swamp' she replied, finishing the bottle.

If it is an option, I will create a character to romance Solas, and then take the option to kill him, and enjoy it, because deep down, there is a villain in me that likes to see characters and people suffer.

 

I fully confess to taking my most favorite character I had in a story, killed her gruesomely at the hands of her arch nemesis, and left her five year-old daughter in the care of the man she loved and who loved her, who might not have been emotionally and mentally stable enough to take care of a child, and who I may have aimed to hurt deeply with the death.
