She does not resist them, the twelve heavily armed soldiers with their blank steel faces.  They handle her as though she were made of lyrium, as though touching her would sear the armor to their flesh.

 

"I go to our Maker now," she says to Maferath as the irons come down over her hands.  "May you live a long and prosperous life."

I loved her too, but what man can compare with a god?'

A lot of my IRL friends also play video games and D&D.  So they get the video game thing, and some of them even play BioWare games.  But most of them are dudes, so I can't exactly gush to them about my digital husbandos.  Not unless I want an earful about Liara's blue...assets in return 

 

Oh wow, you're living the dream. I have one friend who is contemplating on buying a new PC and starting gaming. I've been gently trying to steer her in the right direction. I feel like I have to approach her like a tiny wild animal.Too light a hand and she'll never start; too heavy a hand and she'll get scared and run away.

My first thought for the Anders/Karl prompt:

Anders buries Karl on a beautiful hill overlooking Kirkwall. It's peaceful there, away from the madness that chokes the city, but this way he can watch over Anders as he continues the fight for the freedom neither of them ever enjoyed. When Anders destroys the Chantry, his only comfort is that Karl's eyes are on him. When Hawke sentences him to death for his crime, he's happy, because he'll be able to look into those eyes again soon, and they'll be clear and vivid, not the dull dead eyes of a Tranquil.
