Damn, Glitter Pantheon sounded awesome too but I'm not about that twincest x_x that kinda stuff put me off from the Supernatural fandom.

The twins aren't actual twins. They are just called twin souls.

As for the trash. It's used differently. Usually meaning a bit obssesive over a particular character. Usually a minor one or a villain.

Usually not that into elves in other works of art, probably because they're always that arrogant superior elitist civilization thinking they're better than everyone else, and at war with dwarves, and even though I often appreciate elven aesthetics a lot in most of those, most of the times I can't get behind them fully.

In the DA universe, elves are an oppressed dying population, and yes, they can be arrogant as well, but they're not know-it-all and are going through huge struggles, and that is much more interesting to me than the old holier-than-thou elven trope most people use.

I've always liked that too, but wen't drawn to the other elven love interests. I always go with whoever draws me in. This time I was so glad I changed from human to elf at the last moment. Not merely due to Solas but with how the game turned out, it was the best way to play through, especially the first time.

I was always going to play an elf but I was so glad I decided not to keep trying to force the Sera romance on Lavellan.  If I'd reached the end of the game without a Solas romance I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the romanced as much as I did.

I would love to see prompts here, if not necessarily the fics inspired by them.  (That's not to say I don't want links to them, by any means!)  Kaidan and Anders prompts for one-shots have kept me going for summers when my writing time is severely limited.

Exactly the same problem.  Sera is getting my Qunari mage unless Adaar prefers Josie.

I think we could just spoiler tag prompts and such or open a new Solas thread in the fanfiction forums area.

I think this is the best course of action - instead of totally leaving the thread. It strikes a nice compromise. 

 

I usually spoiler long paragraph-y texts anyway out of courtesy.

I was just reading that a short time ago, and she basically repeats my thoughts on the matter.
