Bees do cause me anxiety in real life or in close pictures but I can tolerate them better than some other bugs. I think if they didn't have the whole stinging thing, I might be okay with them. To me, the cutest bugs are snails.

Consider: Early in his wanderings, when he had first woken up, Solas just sits in a meadow, surrounded by bees. They land on him curiously, and he holds one up to his eye to see its little bee wave, and for a moment he feels less lonely. 

And then the he realizes that he has woken the hive:

Amen.  I got bitten or stung by wasps more as a kid than anything else combined.

 

I like bees, though.  Bees are fuzzy and nice and if you're gentle, they'll even let you pet them.  We've been finding dying bees in our courtyard for a few years now every spring/summer, and it always makes me sad.

 

Please excuse my ignorance, but how do you pet bees? It sounds absolutely fascinating. Do you just.. go to a flower and pick the bee up or wait for it to approach you?

I need to know.. for science.

I spot them walking down the street sometimes, especially after rain. I am a city girl but my neighborhood is very residential, so we have a lot of houses and gardens in the area.

I'd guess that they just land on you. And if you're not me, trying not to squirm or run away, maybe slide a gentle finger so it doesn't feel threatened? Even movements. I've seen video of this on youtube.

I hardened him in my playthrough. I just couldn't make him king if he didn't want it. It's nice to see him actually want it.

 

That, and I needed him to marry Anora because I spared Loghain, but that's another issue entirely

Are you sure you picked the right choice? Or maybe it was a bug. He will definitely talk to you about wanting the throne and will step up to the plate if you harden him.

Nope, nothing yet. The Jaws of Hakkon DLC isn't even out yet for everyone so nothing significant will come for a bit.

 

Though Elizaveta mentioned she will be recording new tavern songs soon, so some people are speculating about DLC again.

 

David Gaider just tweeted he was writing Fenris again, but I wonder what that is for, since he's on another project now.

Likely for something Dragon Age related either DLC or like related media. He's on another project but didn't leave the company. Fenris/Morrigan are his babies so I'm sure Weekes would prefer if he continued to write him since his voice would remain consistent. I would assume, if possible, it was agreed that he would close out DLC stuff if needed. All he's doing is writing, he's not managing which likely took up a lot more of his time.

I'm curious if it's a book or DLC since the writers have been working on DA stuff lately, that's what I meant. Anyway, I just made a friend hopeful by sending her that tweet, so my good deed is done for the day.

Don't worry, that's just projecting your fear on him. Spiders can't hurt Cole.Spiders are good for the environment. Do you want prefer the larger quantity of flies, mites, aphids instead? You're a spider hater and you should feel bad because you're also an environment killer.
