I have not seen a clip of this!
Although, I have seen the dialogue between the two of them upon meeting Kieran, and it's adorable.
He tells Inky to tell Morrigan that 'I didn't stand around looking stupid.'

^I just looked that up. Yes, adorable.
I always see the two of them having this brother-sister kind of bond. The secretly care for one another, but they show it in giving jabs at each other.

That view is... kind of werid for me. My Alistair is the father of Morrigan's child, after all.

LOL. Mine's not, so I guess that helps with the viewpoint. But in all fairness, I doubt they bring up the incident much. For me, the weirdness was always in Morrigan's best friend (my warden) asking her lover to sleep with Morrigan. Like, what? That has to be awkward between those two girls. Then again, I can also imagine them giggling about some silly thing Alistair does in bed, so I guess that works out too. There is no privacy in the Warden's close-knit circle of friends.

I never got the weird(I understand why people are though). I was like 'oh you have some way to save my life and the life of the man I love...or my close friend when I was with Zev. COOL. IM ALL EARS' I mean it was either that or one of you dies. SO RITUAL SEX IT IS.
I'm sort of glad Morrigan developed a sort of affection for him over the years. Not romantically. Just...good friends. . Also she clearly adores Kieran above and beyond the want of the OGS. Alistair gives that to her and she recognizes what an important gift motherhood was. Those two. FEELS.
I really cannot stand the hahren/da'len thing. In particular Solas thinking of her as 'da'len' in a romantic context. It's creepy and it creeps me out.
I can, however, put up with it in Message Sent because the rest of the fic is so good.
Yep, Message Sent is all the things I don't usually like, but it's just so good.
There was also that recent tweet from Weekes saying that he couldn't confirm any potential future DLC yet. It was worded in a way that totally sounded like there's more DLC coming.
I just want a way to change my Skyhold PJs. Failing that, the ability to mod my Skyhold PJs again. I miss my Dalish-style casual wear.
Well, the writers have clearly been at work on DA stuff again, based on tweets and such. Weekes posted a few writer's pit things and has also said he was writing Cole. So....something will come....eventually.
No new art this morning, but I think it's totally awesome that Widdershin's art is a Daily Deviation today!!!

Yeah. I'm...with you. I don't mind the hahren so much. It's the da'len. I know some people view it as like 'kid' in an affectionate way but this isn't the 40's and Solas is not Humphrey Bogart. (sighs dreamily)
Also, he never calls you that outside of one conversation. So, much like the indominabtle focus line, thus spawned a million hot for teacher things. Also, I play my Quizzy as almost 30. To her, he looks only about 10 years older IF that(seriously the guy does NOT look 40), so she would be like 'why are you calling me da'len'? (yes yes yes, i get that it's also about experience and education but still...the weird imbalance that hahren/dalen implies is just a little odd for me).

I looked at my party like two bickering siblings and surrogate mama most of the time. Alistair, Morrigan, and Wynne.
But not in a sexual tension 'care about one another', but a basic kind of maybe care about.

My most common party was Alistair, Zev, Morrigan, and snarky Amell. So the scary part is that Zev is the relatively mature and adult one in that bunch. I'm surprised they managed to get their shoes on without burning down the camp, never mind saving the world.
I miss my Amell. She was a little bundle of fireballs and sass.
Off topic, but...
I wrote Morrigan/Loghain smut: http://archiveofouro...g/works/3849511
I regret nothing! ohgodwhathaveIdone
Also, I ship it now. saveyourselfitistoolateforme
Hot. I can't help but be drawn to anything that has sexy Loghain in it ![]()

Bogaaaaaaaaaaaart *dreamy sigh*
Solas' take on It's a Wonderful Life makes him quite the optimist.
(I think it's a sadly beautiful take on the opposite of the traditional interpretation/intent)
Cole: It sees him ready to jump. Pain pounding, pulsing, life of frustration can finally fall, to freeze.
Solas: Ah, yes.
Cole: It holds him high, shows the hole, were everything falls without him. He never needs to leave. He matters here.
Solas: That is one interpretation, yes.
Cole: You think it is different.
Solas: I think he fell, and it held him as he died, leaving him with images that told him his life was worthwhile.
Cole: That’s much sadder. But yes. Calm, comfort, as the cold takes him away.
This is It’s a Wonderful Life.
I wonder if that is foreshadowing?
I hope not, but...

Weridness all around.
Haha, really? Same here!
My Warden fell fast and hard for Morrigan, but Morrigan wasn't interested in her that way while Alistair was, so she eventually returned his affections. While she grew to love him over the year, by the time Morrigan revealed her true plan and said Alistair must sleep with her, my Warden was all kinds of emotionally confused. It's like, "What? The man I love and the woman I love are making a baby in the next room without me present. What's wrong with this picture?" (My beau then joked, "You should have had them have a threesome! XD" I headcanon that my Warden wanted to, but Morrigan said "no.")
I headcanon that that's part of why Alistair hated Morrigan so much. He could sense that his beloved held a torch for her, and didn't like it one bit. Also why my Warden went and searched for Morrigan in Witch Hunt, because part of her had not gotten over her. (Certainly feels very vindicating when the Inquisitor asks about a befriended Warden, and Morrigan becomes so warm and soft recollecting her friend, and sounds pained when she said she had to leave.)

Oh gosh....I hope not.
Oh gosh....I hope not.
I could see it, TBH. It would be a good death for him. Surrounded by people that loved him. Remembered not for the monster that he was made out to be but the man that he was. Vindicated. I'd cry and love it and probably play it all over again to feel the pain.

Hah. Nice to see I'm not the only one with this as a canon. Except my Alistair actually knew Surana has feelings for Morrigan. She's the worst at keeping her crushes a secret. And Surana totally would've been up for a threesome but... well, Morrigan.
I miss my Surana. She was so cheerful about everything. And, unlike Hawke, it was actual 'everything about this world is amazing and I love every second of it now I'm off to be sarcastic and awesome' instead of 'my life is nothing but pain. Time to use humour to mask my feelings! Again.'

No, I can see it too and that's why it makes me sad.
but it's one thing I do think is a distinct possibility. As I've said before, I mostly just want peace of some sort for him, and hopefully a chance for the world to see him differently.

Don't want it to happen (the death part I mean). ![]()
I refuse to believe that having him die is the best way for his story to end. ![]()
EDIT: Well, I'm legit crying right now... TT^TT
That is an adorable octopus

That was my first thought as well. The entire game is about what the Inquisitor would have liked to have done if they hadn't died in the explosion at the Conclave. Devs wouldn't do that though.I wonder if that is foreshadowing?
