I am not new to Dragon Age but I am new to most of the elven lore and the other less mentioned characters, absolutely fascinating the theories that people have come up with in regard to Solas. But think in my next playthrough I will be human.... for safety reasons.

 

I don't know how you can stand to be a human in a 2nd playthrough.

When I play I can't stop myself from rolling elf for RP and Solas reasons. You can last all those hours with Solas regarding your Inquisitor as just friends? That's painful! And hearing his voice all the time? And romancing Cullen/Blackwall/Iron Bull/Sera? Bleh! 

Okay I'll stop xD I just can't stay away from Solas even when I hate him.

Play ManAdaar.  Romance Dorian aka Best Mage.  Squee forever 

 

Or do what I do and try to tame the hellspiral with other games.  Currently it's PoE and Shadows of Mordor.  Nothing like messing with weird soul artifacts or shanking orcs in the back to take the edge off the Solavellan angst!

Kmeme has proved to be a really interesting read. Like 90% of it is just awful, but there's 10% of prompt requests that have nothing to do with anything naughty, and are actually quite interesting in their own right and WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE WHY? 

 

There was one asking for a fill where the qunari Inquisitor was a devout Saaraebas {I probably spelled that incorrectly} and the challenges they faced as both Inquisitor and a devotee of the Qun and actually that's pretty fascinating? 

 

And this one is hilarious too. Spoilered for language but honestly sfw.

Hawke and the Inquisitor rub each other the wrong way. Skyhold is too small for both heroes. They're both used to being the top dog and can sense the challenge oozing from the other. Que lots of immature dick-wagging in which they try to one-up each other. Hawke is perhaps a bit more world-weary and jaded than the gung-ho Quiz, but no less bratty in their own way. Varric is embarrassed for both of them.
