You know. This would actually explain a whole hell of a lot. The whole time we're wandering around and Thedas and I'm like, "I don't see these actually doing anything, Solas."

 

Considering we have more than one source talking about them strengthening the Veil (including Mihris), as well as Solas' dialogue and general beliefs indicating that while he might want the Veil gone, he would not want it disturbed or weakened, because that would stress out and turn scared spirits to demons.

 

So, while I can see why people might suspect that, it's an approval thing like every companion has and there are more reasons to believe it's nothing sinister than the opposite.

Yes. It's...ok.  You get the stories in the full book. They pretty much just shrunk them down into a tiny children's book.  So...not really interesting.

hmm..I think I'm going to replay my canon Lavellan and have her drink from the well (and actually pay attention to war table missions and not get her clan killed).

Hmm i can never drink form the well i did that once and i reloaded my save I cant shake one thought from my head that doesn't let me drink ..what if Flemeth is somehow manipulating Solas in some manner as well to get her whatever "shake the heavens" event is to come in future DA games? I would not want to go against him if that is a small possibility to happen

I just like letting Morrigan have the well, honestly. Considering that you can use it to summon a dragon once and Morrigan can use it to actually turn into a dragon. Yeah, I think she's right when she says she can use the power better.

yeah.....I still have my save from when I didn't drink, just in case.

Why not allow your Inquisitor to drink from the Well? 

I can never resist, my Inquisitor would want to be closer to one of the Creators, especially Mythal. 

Screw Morrigan and her hunger for more knowledge! (I really do love you Morrigan ) 

 

Edit: Now that I think about it after allying with the Wardens and drinking from the Well no wonder Solas breaks up with her u_u ... I SAID IM SORRY SOLAS </3

I generally think I'd rather have Inky involved than on the outside of whatever Mythal has set in motion.  Plus, Morrigan's human.  My Lavellan nopes her way right into that pool.
