Nah, I engaged in debate because I wanted to, not because I'm unable to keep quiet. :lol:

And there is nothing unrealistic about chainmail bikinis. Refer to Red Sonja, it's simply the example of legitimately using femininity to distract your enemies. If they stop hitting because they started staring you don't need protection anymore.

 

Seems like an awful risk though. What if they don't? That's where it becomes unrealistic for me, and becomes a comedy moment instead.

I used to get ads for games like that all the time when my boyfriend and I shared a desktop.  We share a lot of interests, so Google seemed to think we were one person but couldn't sort out if we were male or female.  So I got sleazy oversexualized game ads, and he got ads for engagement rings  :rolleyes:

Screw Morrigan. She's not even elvhen. 

I think their romance will become much more interesting if Solas inherits the Mythal leash.

I think it depends on where the geas leash goes, for lack of a better way of putting it.

 

If it goes to Morrigan (since the dev notes mentioned Mythal's godhood going to Morrigan as a possiblity), she can't very well order herself around? :huh: So if she drank, she's probably scot-free.  If quizzy drank...I could see Morrigan making use of the geas to compel quizzy.  They're not bosom friends the way Morrigan and the Warden can be.

 

If it goes to Solas, I have a hard time seeing him using it TBH.  He hates infringing upon the freedom of others, and a geas is kind of the ultimate f*** you to freedom.  But if sufficiently pressed, he does have that option in his back pocket.

 

Same here. If Solas does inherit the geas leash and if he does use it, I think it would be as a way to show just how desperate he feels, and/or how far he has fallen and how much he needs to be stopped/redeemed.

 

Much as I hate making the comparison, but kind of like Loghain. Never known for desiring power, most of Ferelden heard warning bells when he suddenly crowned himself regent. A lifelong denouncer of Orlesian tyranny and oppression, the player was clued into how far he had fallen in terms of his own morals and principles when he started employing the same brutal practices to maintain his own throne (including using military might to quell dissent, and selling his own people into slavery).

 

Solas himself believes that in order to shape the world one desires, sometimes one must take "regrettable measures." However, even Solas has a few lines he's unwilling to cross (i.e. infringing on others' free will). However, over the course of the game we see that he's becoming more and more desperate, and by the post-credits he's become so desperate that he's willing to murder his oldest friend to accomplish his goal of help the elves. What happens in future games, if/when perhaps a future protagonist or villain keeps foiling his attempts? I shudder to think, but like Nehn I think it would be interesting to see, especially where his romance with Lavellan is concerned. (Though I hope it has a chance of ending fairly well!)

It might be a different game. As someone else mentiond (forgive me for not going back and looking who) I saw an advert for one of those skeezy looking games and thought "**** it, let's see what it's like for the giggles". It was very similar to that screenshot, but it was still in beta? (I think). It was and was meant to stay F2P, but you could buy a "premium" account, where something like the gold premium worth over £200 got you an "armor" that effecitvely let you play the game with your character naked.

 

Edit: I should mention it was an MMO where you could only play as big-busted women. No men! A shame. xD
 

Stupid looking design aside, when I saw that particular money grab, I abandoned it quickly and went back to FFXIV. x) Although that now gives you the option to make your armor "invisible", but at least it leaves you in your bra/panties/boxies.
