Well, I adjusted my mage's face and hair and recolored her vallaslin, but I'm not sure if I'm entirely happy. But I'm happier her hair isn't a shiny black that looks gray and clashes with her eyes. I decided to go for brown.

Well it's interesting because to me, that means it's going to come back later as "a thing". It's not important enough for the keep because it's romance specific, but it's important in that it will get brought up for the romance.
I am curious what kind of dialog there will be. I really hope if you do keep it, it's not a lot of whining about "YOU LEFT ME BECAUSE OF MA UGGO FACE TATTOOS" because that's not how me or my lavellan interpreted that at all. I would like it to be an opportunity to challenge him about changing culture and meaning. HEAVY PHILOSOPHICAL DISCUSSIONS, YO!

To be entirely fair to Solas, some of the tattoo colors are really f***ing uggo. Seriously, who decides to get the Elgar'nan half-face tattoo in chartreuse? Fabulous glitter pantheon greatly disapproves.

....my mage has hers in a light blue. 
I almost turned them yellow since I made her skin a bit darker.
I don't really like marks on my characters' faces, but I've used them from time to time. My GW2 ranger that I posted in here last night, for instance.

Its Tera. I play it off and on. I had to buy a costume to cover up that ridiculous outfit when I came around that item level...
Yeah, but what's great with Tera is that devs decided to go overboard on the skimpiness, meaning that of course, female characters have extremely skin-showing armors, but male characters too! I can't say no to a game who decides to oversexualize everybody regardless of their gender, I applaud it, even.
Anyway, here is my lovely Castanic sorcerer. Of course I bought her some costumes, because I couldn't stand the over-the-top sexy armors all of the time, even though they always give me a good laugh when I see them. Also included: my cute magical girl Elin Mystic.

I would agree, except I decided to make my Mythal tree tattoo lyrium blue. >>;
(Partly to make it look like Fenris, since I headcanon that she got her vallaslin shortly after he became famous and she wanted to symbolically honor past elven heroes; partly in symbolic defiance of the Templars. "Ha ha! I'm a mage and I have heathen tattoos of lyrium blue, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!)
