I know I am super late to the party but...I just finished my first playthrough of DAI......and I have a problem.
I am listening to the saddest music ever...on repeat.
I am literally drowning in parts of Solas tumblr....
I have made 4 new characters and everytime I can't stop myself from hitting flirt options with Solas because for some reason I can't seem to roll anything but an elf. I also find myself skipping most conversations I have already seen now.....unless Solas is there...
I feel like I have totally embraced this hellspiral that is Solas&Lavellan.....
All while curling up into a ball eating Nutella straight from the jar.
I will most likely just be observing this thread....but I just had to throw my plea for help out there. However I'm pretty sure this thread will just end up enabling. I'm happy with that too.

and welcome If u feel any better i'm still crying after months and i cant do anything about it ,coming here it will help a lot only wonderful people here,but honestly until we get closure the pain will not go away...At least this is how i feel ..When i thought i was ok i was back in hellspiral.Bioware knows to deliver i will never forget this game and Solas especially,his damn stare so strong ..

In fact I agree with your opinion, I simply mean that in his head things very likely looked different. The Dalish are raised to be proud and never give in. He simply adopted this attitude. It reminds me so strongly of Merrill, who thought she did something good for the Dalish and who seemed to stubborn and foolish and proud. But in the end the only mirrored her own clan. They said different things but with the same attitude.
And I assume it helps a great deal that we meet Conner (twice even, if we let him live). We interact with him and all. That boy is only one letter.
Also, his clan's mentality isn't exactly helping either. "You're Dalish alright, and the Inquisitor thingy, and you came to us on friendly terms and all but.. nope, we won't trade with you. Unless you proved your worth by running errands for us and killing a few demons over there. ... Thinking about it, get us some animal hides too. Our hunters? Yeah well.... don't question us. Just do it. .... Ah, yeah, alright, but a few more herbs would be cool. No, our people can go down the 10 steps to the river themselves, now hurry up!" Seriously guys, no surprise people don't like you and your boy snapped.

Ah, Merrill. She had an interesting notions that she stuck to far too forcefully, but her clan really put the cream on the pie with their outright hostile approach to her. My assessment of that entire mess is that at least half of the tragedy befalling that clan can be traced to the clan's desperate reactions to Merrill, sometimes to a completely unnecessary degree. I wanted so much to sit them down to actually talk to one another, it would have been so much less complicated.
Yes, I agree this attitude tends to be the signature Dalish approach to life in general, hardly an environment to foster the humility and the kind of consciousness one would need to approach a something like blood magic with if one wants any degree of safety at all. Their attitude was very standoffish and I think that was evident all around in this entire affair; there's only that one lad who wants to join the Inquisition who stands out and he was trying to get out, haha. What does that tell you about them....

So...I found this Inquisitor Meme thingy on Deviant Art and decided to make one for my Lavellan. I can't draw anything besides faces so I used dolls that I had made.
