If that happens to my Adaar it's a good thing she's got her eyes on Sera, then...
If that happened to you the best you can do is reload your save. Sorry
But Solas' romance is worth doing!

I played almost 20 hours. this playthrough was meant for Elven support and Solas romance and it was intended for going through game as quickly as I can, but with this SOlas romance problem I changed my mind. I deleted all saves except one and I am playing it again from the start. this time properly. maibe even in completionistic way. this way I can complete few of the remaining achievements.
But I am still angry that Blackwall has this let´s call it bug.

Alternatively, you could avoid doing the Fade!Haven conversation with Solas and just not talk to him until you get the opportunity to end Blackwall's romance. Though I don't know when Blackwall's next romance conversation takes place after the ramparts.
Blackwall's next romance scene takes place in the Inquisitor's chambers if I remember correctly. You just have to talk to him.
Screw Blackwall. I am starting over. there is no way back now without all those saves.
Hehe: http://fenharelenasa...-each-other-the
Still, flycam is the best for giving us other details. I can be okay with the clipping.
I accidentally fell asleep for an hour and had a DA-inspired dream and in it, I told someone I was like Cole. I kind of am, in ways. ![]()
I get DA-related dreams at times. Origins sent me into some really hideous dreams when I was playing it (and afterward).
Edit: Oh, ToP! Well then. Has this been posted?
Spoiler
I really like this. Kinda makes me wonder what the unfinished fresco might have looked like if Solas had time to complete it?

Really, really stupid confession. It took me a little bit to realize that Solas was painting the walls, even when new paintings began to appear and the note about elven fresco came up. It was not my finest moment by far.
I think I was just so used to talking to him, running through, etc.
That DA link is such lovely work.

Skyhold often loses art supplies.
Frescos entertain nobles, his artistic redecoration excites lovers.

Just one day, hmm..something in here is different...

Good, I'm not alone in feeling silly then.

I had the same thing, actually. I didn't realise they were about the Inquisition and thought the art was being excavated during the restoration of Skyhold. Then I remembered one of the early leaked bits of Solas information was that he was an artist and would paint during the game and I was just 'oooooooh'.
I wonder whether he did the artwork in the armoury and the stables, or was that one of the people working there? Both look a little more Ferelden than Elven, so maybe it was another aspring artist around Skyhold?
I know that the Inquisition is meant to look official, but part of me misses the random graffiti that Kirkwall had in DA2 and wishes more places in Skyhold had there own little murals painted by the people living there, to make it look a bit more lived in?

There's also that painting on the wall up the ladder in the Inquisitor's quarters. I can headcanon that being Solas since I'd say he spent a lot of time in my Lavellan's quarters, but that (and the others) might just be left over from Skyhold history.
Hehe they could paint together! Some people say Lavellan and Solas did nothing together, but I think they lack imagination. A lot of invisible time passed between events in the game.

Josephine: Inquisitor Lavellan, I erm... have you been painting?
Lavellan: With Solas this morning, how did you know?
Josephine: You have some paint on you?
Lavellan: Really? I don't see any?
Josephine: It's located on your... erm... lower back?
Lavellan: You mean my...
Josephine: Yes.
Lavellan: Creators, I've been walking around like this all day, why didn't anyone tell me?!
Sera: Because it was frigging funny, that's why?!
Its a weird question, but can a dwarf actually punch solas or dorian? I dunno, i havent played as dwarf and i have not found gameplay either.

The art in the barn is elven, I think. Shows up in the Dales. I wouldn't put it past Solas to spend his first few months awake wandering the countryside, adding artistic touches to random buildings.
I just found out the orb is Mythal's not Fen'harel's

I can't imagine I'm the only one who thought it was Solas' orb >_>;;
But Fen'harel isn't a proper pantheon I guess.

I think they might have changed it though, since Flemeth refers to it as "Your Orb" when talking to him, rather than her own?
Unless the Orb was originally (one of) hers, but she's bestowed it to him at some point, since they were friends?

Fen'harel as Mythal's enforcer, preventing the commoners from being completely trod upon by the other gods makes sense to me.
Perhaps he was ascended as Ghilan'nain was, and was given the Orb.
Perhaps since she died before they were all sealed away, hers was the only one he could access. (The Orb was destroyed by too much going on at once. I imagine sealing the Pantheon away would do something similar.)
Also, that stuff was datamined, and the devs said there were changes to the end/different plans for the epilogue, so I wouldn't put stock in a possibly old note someone found that wasn't meant to be seen. Until we know more, that is, but she did call it "your orb" and he did tell you what foci were.

Totally. What I find particularly interesting about that final panel is it seems to deviate from the composition Solas establishes in all of the other panels. It's close up, tightly cropped, has directly interacting subjects, feels more emotive and doesn't have as clear of a focal point--at least to me. Also, it seems to be predictive rather than completed as a narrative after their events, like the others.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN, SOLAS.
So yeah, what I'm saying is I'd also really have liked to see it finished. It'd be really cool if the Inquisitor could discuss it with him at some point. Or if he does end up finishing it.

Headcanon accepted. This is strangely adorable and also I'm imagining the headlines: "Old man spotted wandering countryside in paint-smeared-pajamas; prime suspect in mysterious case of continuing high-brow vandalism rampant across Thedas (more on pg. 8)"

I think the poster's theory of the orb being Mythal's rather than Solas' simply because of the game file being named "elv_orbmythal" is super shaky. There's no possessive in there, and file names can be totally bonkers. When I'm naming projects, the file name usually just encompasses the main bits of what the subject matter is about for easy reference later.
For instance: I doodled Solas wearing a party hat a while back. I called it solas_birthday. But it wasn't about Solas' birthday (or anyone's birthday, for that matter). I suspect this is just a file name that would have flicked on the lightbulb for any devs looking for it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, I tend to think that Solas' orb is 100% his orb. Even if Mythal gave it to him at some point, it's still his. Like, if I were to join a very exclusive University and work my ass off with the aim of gaining admittance to a super awesome club with super awesome people who all had super awesome matching club jackets, and then finally gained admittance and was given my very own matching club jacket, it would be mine, even though it was the super awesome exclusive University club chairperson that originally gave it to me.
Unless of course Mythal simply lent it to him. But Mythal doesn't strike me as a loaner of super awesome matching club jackets. ![]()
