I am going to laugh so hard when we meet the elven gods and they're nothing like the headcanons going around.

Elgar'nan = Bad Horse. Or maybe Ghilan'nain = Bad Halla?
The Bria/Celene ending isn't perfect! They just have to have another lover's tiff and Orlais explodes again.
Any ending where you have two or more of the players in power (Gaspard + Briala, Celene + Briala, all 3) is inherently more unstable because as soon as they come into serious conflict, it's going to be the whole messy civil war all over again. And while Celene and Briala might be willing to let bygones be bygones, I don't think either of them are ever going to forget that first breach of trust. If they do have another falling out, it has the potential to be the ugliest.
When I replay Lavellan, I'm probably going to try for Celene + Briala, and hardened Leliana as Divine. Thedas shall tremble before badass ladies! ![]()
What's your beef with the Pantheon. Falon's Din too much for you to handle??
It's okay. Glitter doesn't look good on everybody. I understand.
Not a fan of glitter, to be honest.
It gets everywhere :I
EDIT: Or a fan of piercings. Or tattoos.
Basically the entire glitter!pantheon thing leaves me cold.

Like the Blight! But Blight is more flesh-melty.

I went for Celene/Bria because I wanted Bria in power but didn't want to kill Celene. I honestly think that Gaspard/Bria might be the better choice because it's not relying on the parties liking each other. But my Lavellan is a giant softy when it comes to love.

Well, from now on I'll be mentally replacing the words 'blight' and 'taint' with 'glitter' in DAO.

My Adaar will probably let Celene die, but my Lavellan wouldn't. She felt that assassination as a means for advancement is a...bad precedent to set. The first time I played I forced all three to a truce just because I thought it was awesome and hilarious making them all eat humble pie, but in hindsight, I think my Lavellan would take Celene + Briala. Gaspard...I just can't see Gaspard letting Briala hold blackmail over him indefinitely, and I fear the consequences if it breaks down.

Also. Glitterotica is more than its glitter. It's so much more.

My Adaar is either going to go fro 'force all three to work together' or Gaspard/Bria. She's more pragmatic than my Lavellan, as well as being an excellent player of the game.(my Adaar is shaping up to one of my most interesting characters).

That was what I wanted to happen, but I accidentally progressed things a bit too far and ran into Florianne before I could discover everything and get all the halla statues and such. I am changing it in my canon world state to reflect Celene/Briana and Gaspard dead (I exiled him before I knew truly what a jerk he was).
My Lavellan is also someone who is also kind of moved by love, and in my headcanon, she has also loved women before too, so that angle gets a little sympathy from her, especially now that she too has had a taste of leadership/power and that spotlight. Plus, having better conditions for elves is important.
The thing is that the Lavellan Inquisitor is the only one who really can get the Briala/Gaspard option to work longer term. The nobles don't like it but they are too much in awe of the elven Inquisitor's backing of Briala to do anything about it. I like the irony that the people who Orlais betrayed in robbing them of their homeland have now got them under their thumb, with the backing of the elven led Inquisition. Having read Masked Empire, I don't think the Celene/Briala relationship will last long term and Celene will continue to be too cautious in making any real changes to the status quo. I went with that pairing on my second run but subsequently I've always opted for Briala/Gaspard. Solas seems to think it a good move as well. I imagine he rather appreciates the irony too.

LOL, my Adaar is the opposite. You have to try really, really hard to f*** up Halamshiral, but I think my Adaar skates by on his personal likeability, and running back to Dorian whenever he can't figure out what the hell to do next. I'm probably going to wind up with Gaspard as sole ruler in that playthrough.

I wasn't aware of that tidbit. Does it turn up in the epilogue slides? That's interesting.

I'm also not generally a fan of tattoos or face markings, so my canon's vallaslin were simple and a light green. My mage has brown skin and light blue vallaslin that are highly visible, and she will be keeping hers.
Gaspard...I just can't see Gaspard letting Briala hold blackmail over him indefinitely, and I fear the consequences if it breaks down.
There isn't much keeping him from just lopping her head off as soon as the Inquisitor leaves the building tbh.
Gaspard had me at "I despise the game." Celene has died in every one of my games, even before reading TME, the only thing that changes is whether Briala joins her.

It's cool. I guess. Some people have different aesthetics. I prefer my dumpster to be haute iniquity, haute debauchery. Hobo!Solas is cool with it.

I like the tattoos for Elves and Dwarves, and the acid thing the Qunari have going on. None of my Humans will have tattoos though, I dono. ![]()

Watch this!!! Soon you will understand!
Yeah, watch Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog, it's fantastic.
I recently stumbled across a parody comic on DeviantArt that has Anders as Dr Horrible... and y'know, it surprisingly fits really well?
(Plus Fenris as Captain Hammer cracks me up)

And now, after reading TME, Gaspard will die in every game/world state I have. He cannot be trusted at all, craves war, and 'honor' is only when it suits him, not when threatening people's lives or instigating murder of elves in order to spring an ambush just for the sake of his own ambition.

All of it could have been avoided if Celene just married him, but she chose her own needs over Orlais', and lets not just write off Celene murdering a couple hundred people as Gaspard's fault. ![]()

She didn't want to marry him. Let's not forget that. She's also a lesbian and in love with Briala. I know political marriages with side affairs aren't unheard of, but Gaspard wouldn't be satisfied with that. He's too greedy, and she knows that. Celene is trying to keep her position, and she has taken some cold actions to gain her seat and keep it, sure.
I blame her for making the decision to do it, but ultimately, it was Gaspard's fault in threatening to kill her while riding, in arranging her public mockery, and in his underhanded dealings via the bard and other seeds of insurgency he was sowing, and then springing a trap in which HE didn't exactly value the lives that would be lost, directly or indirectly. Celene did it but she had some clear misgivings and knew what it might cost (though some of her considerations were about personal cost, so she's not exactly a saint either). Gaspard was power hungry and wanted war at any cost.
I'm pretty sure that even if she had married him, Gaspard would have arranged some kind of "accident" to befall her? With a claim on the throne due to the line of succession, as well through the bonds of marriage, there'd be very little preventing him from becoming Emperor?

Yes, this exactly. He would definitely not be satisfied. After reading TME, I just can't let him live. He's exiled in my game but going to change that in Keep.
