Don't know if it's already been said, but... (under spoiler just in case - mentions the developers' notes about the epilogue scene)

Since we now know there was at one point a "Quest for Solas epilogue" that was finally cut from the game (https://twitter.com/...747339852689409) - do you think it was initially a quest for Morrigan alone (or Morrigan+Inquisitor, or the person who drank from the Well) searching for Solas / following a message left by Flemythal? And at the end of the quest, Morrigan witnesses the epilogue scene between Solas and Flemeth? That would explain the "gasp" and "mother?" found in the developers' notes. If Morrigan is present, she can also take what Flemeth hides in the Eluvian at the beginning of the scene (the "essence of god-hood" Flemeth wanted her to have?). I hope they're making a big DLC ;_;

I can appreciate the craft behind it, but I dislike the creepy Dread Wolf art a lot of the time because it's like an extension of the rumors spread over the centuries. And we know that Solas has been deeply hurt, is a lonely person, and feels deep regret, so it's like....I want to hug him after those types of art surface.

Same here!  I can appreciate the creativity of the art work, but they just make me sad and a little angry.

 

Edit:  Not angry at the artist that creates the art, just at the rumors.

Solas gives me so many feels whenever I think about him. The poor guy... I can't imagine how this will all end for him. *tries not to think about it too much*

 

So, question for those who have WOT2, are there any entries there regarding the book characters? Like for example Rhys, Evangeline, and Felassan? Especially Felassan?

 

I just... want to know if there's any more information about him. I'm getting Felassan feels after I did that artwork of him.

But I had the conversation with her post-Mythal about religion/elves at the same time so it was like a full on cruel experience.

 

I didn't hate her but she and my Inquisitor had a bit of a rocky relationship over the course of the game and it was very much on the ups at that point so the whole thing taken together was rather cruel. It damaged their friendship.

I sort of had the same experience. My Lavellan and Sera were not exactly BFFs but there came a point where I thought that they were starting to get along well. Then the post-Mythal conversation happened and then she laughed at the reason why my Lavellan's had no more vallaslin and that's when things went south. She doesn't hate her (and on that note, I don't hate her either) but yeah, whatever bit of friendship they had was damaged.

I didn't really get along with her. I tried at first (I do like Sera as a character) but I didn't like the way she treated my lavellan. So aggressive and being ignorant by saying '' no way even part of it could be true '' basically. So she should be glad that my lavellan is nice. If she would've said to me that everything I say is stupid I would've got so mad at her. Apologized after unless she would've continued but really saying that '' even if you disagree with me you don't need to try to have a fight with me just because I think differently. '' 

gosh that really pissed me off and also the face thing. Really Sera? You cannot even understand that even if it doesn't mean a s*it to you it could hurt someone's feelings.. also just after that break up.. so rude.. even though she didn't know what happened but still.

"Regarding the elf Felassan, the information that is known is far eclisped by the information that is lacking. It is clear that he mentored Briala in her youth, teaching Celene's handmaid about elven culture and supplementing her already impressive training as spy. He accompanied Briala and Celene after Gaspard attacked the empress outside Halamshiral, providing assistance that almost certainly kept Celene alive--and his expertise regarding the ancient elven mirrors known as Eluvians is unparallaled.

What is not known, however, is what Felassan gained from this mentorship and assistance. He was not a member of Clan Virnehn, and in fact, no Dalish clan willing to speak with outsiders admits to having had Felassan among its ranks. When his skill with magic was explained--he is known to have caused earthquakes and thunderstorms, rent stone walls asunder, and explosively countered the magic of a Dalish mage who, it was later revealed, was possessed by a powerful demon at the time--the Dalish clans noted that such a gifted mage would more likely be serving as Keeper for a clan than wandering the world alone like some restless hermit.

 

Empress Celene, speaking through her advisors, said that in her journeys with Felassan, she found him to be unlike any other elf she'd encountered. "He had neither the loyal fellowship of the city elves nor the love of the past that marks the Dalish," she said. "It was impossible to say what he truly cared about, but most things I expected an elf to care about seemed to him mere curiosities."

 

Grand Duke Gaspard, who also traveled with Felassan while allied briefly with Celene, shared similar opinions when asked. "He didn't look down, and any city elf would have. He didn't look angry, and all Dalish did. He didn't talk about the old elves like a scholar or poet. He talked about them like a man who walked those streets himself."

 

Wherever he is now, Felassan will, it seems, remain a mystery."
