I'm always okay with staying up! It's the getting up in the morning that can be difficult ha ha ha! But whatever. It's a fun experience. And if I was really concerned I'd sleep. : >

I really hope DA gives you those options. If the game is as expansive as it says it is, I would hope such options would be possible. Personally I usually go the clear-cut 'righteous' way, especially in first play-throughs. Mass Effect I was pretty Paragon until the last game where my Shepard was just done with a lot of people and went more equally Paragon and Renegade. Then again, I felt like ME3 was a bit better at making renegade options less 'errgggg, eff you' and more 'I'm being aggressive, this is my aggressive choice'. I'm not sure what I'll do this time around. I guess it all depends on how I 'feel' about the characters I roll. What I'd honestly enjoy is if there's not clear 'good' or 'bad' path. I think that's what some are hinting towards for this game. And while it's a bit more stressful for me as someone who likes to be 'good', it would make for a more facinating story. 

 

I'll be happy with anything in that vein, really. They can't make, say, two versions of DA4 where one's got the Chantry and one doesn't. We all have to share, hah. But so long as I can do SOMETHING, you know? The game's not mine, but the world state is. And I'd like to have some way to meaningfully stamp is as such, yanno?

It does sound like they're going for more gray, though. Which pleases me. I hated in ME how it was "blue for good" and "red for bad." Especially since not having a meter full can lead to bad things...  Like, can I not play a cardboard cutout, please? I loved being able to take some of the renegade in 2 because I already was high on paragon from the import bonus. Like YES. Someone who has ups and downs! Like a real person! Their system was better in 3 for that, yeah.

I'm also always a "good guy," so to speak. I ain't no paladin but I basically never pick any of the "mean" decisions, like uh... leaving the Redcliffe villagers to die, for instance. All the Wardens I've had, none of them have done that. All for different reasons, but it's just not something I as a player can ever see any real reason to do. Now, in other instances like in KOtOR... Those Czerka guards in the Shadowlands guarding that sonic barrier thing?? I totally force persuaded them to run away while knowing full well that their commander would shoot them for it. They were slavers, why should I care?? And it was funny, heheh. 

 

And A HALF HOUR. I should probably put some effort into focusing on finding a working tab now that it's so close... eeeee...

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of not being able to do Paragon and Renegade option. (until 3 at least for me) But, this game doesn't have that so I'm fine. Can't say I'll ever play an entirely 'evil' character, but I throw in more wrenches the older I get because it adds a little something-something interesting to the storyline for me. (Or I do less of playing a character how I think and more how my character might think considering where they're coming from.)
