No not really, I don't want to spoil anything, so I can't really go into greater detail.
Alright, appreciated. I will buy it today or on Monday and play it and then we'll discuss all the choices and beheadings.

Has anyone played Serpent in the Staglands? It looks interesting.
http://www.gog.com/g...n_the_staglands
Apparently no one is on when during my waking hours here or I'm just invisible(yay there's a post above me!)
Off topic (but no one's here anyway),
I forgot how weird it is to walk around in Japan. I can't blend or be invisible. It seems the majority of people haven't seen many "outsiders" so they glance or stare at me. One time when I was here before some lady insisted on staring at me (AND she was scowling!) when I was trying to eat in a restaurant... It's even worse when they are talking or laughing as you pass. Doesn't help my knowledge of Japanese is about as much as a pre-schooler. I guess I shouldn't care really, but it makes it hard to enjoy oneself.
Sigh, now I know how it feels to be Lavellan at the Winter Palace. Please stop staring. Yes I do look different. No, don't call me rabbit, lady. =__=
Okay, I'll go shut up and go back to play Origins...

He looks great. Went to the Facebook pace listed for the guy and apparently he's dating the Cassandra and they do all sorts of couple cosplay.
I saw a nice Solas cosplay from some recent con and I have not been able to find pics of the guy again.
(Then there's June the Glamour Toad, but that's another story.
)
I saw that over there. It made me chuckle......but I'm not going to lie....I want June to be a super hot ancient elf that we meet standing over some magical forge without a shirt.
All I'm saying is that if Solas dies tragically and Lavellan lives to see the pantheon come back...seeing that might help her in her grief. Just sayin'.
Oooo how do they see them? From what I saw from the fan art Falon'din looks like he's infected with red lyrium in one of his eyes.
We really don't have solid evidence on how Dirthamen, Sylaise, or June acted. I bet Sylaise was a sweet innocent elf
(Her mosaic is so cute! Mythal is still my favorite though...)
From what I can gather Ghilan'nain was a mad scientist when it came to animals. Probably conjured up the halla with some insane practice. She also was besties or a lover of Andruil. Andruil was obsessed with hunting, like way too obsessed and probably got infected with red lyrium at some point. Based on what Solas told us Falon'din was another crazy like Andruil. His obsession was with adoration/devotion. The only thing I can tell about Elgar'nan is that he judged people too harshly. He probably loved having power and was just waiting to use it.
Poor Mythal, she had to intervene with those crazies a lot and was murdered for it most likely (/cough Andruil with Ghilan'nain, and/or Falon'din with possibly Dirthamen [because brothers/besties]) I think it was a big conspiracy involving half the gods. How could Solas miss this kind of court? Maybe they got along once. Maybe half of them became blighted... /tinfoil
edit: Crazy conspiracies top!
I'm sorry Solas
! Don't disapprove! I'm not crazy!
Love the gif btw.
Okay so my own thoughts on the Elvhen pantheon is that they "MAY BE" (I say this in big air quotes because this theory is totally tenuous) equivalent to the Greco/Roman pantheon. I have this though because what little hints we get of them revels a rather capricious attitude towards the rest of the Elvhen. We already know that Gaider played with Christianity to developed the Andrastian Chantry, so why not play with another RW equivalent for the Elvhen pantheon? Like I said, just a very tenuous thought, but Mythal kinda gives me a Hera vibe when she's all on about a "reckoning that will shake the very heavens." I would also say that if this is even remotely possible then it is a looser parallel perhaps than the Chantry/Christianity one.
I think the only way that Solas wants to release them is that it may be tied to the separation of the Fade from the rest of creation. I posit that this separation is tied somehow tied why the Elvhen declined, but again this a maybe thought.
It's interesting then and now, elves still come to her to "justice". Not sure what Mythal's "justice" was back in the days, but currently its about making deals.
When Marethari's clan was abushed and killed by some Avvars, she came to an Ancient Place and made a deal with her(DA2 events)
Hypothesis: All heavily forested areas in Thedas contain Elvhen secrets
Song to Sylaise
Sylaise, whose heat rivals Elgar'nan's light.
Sylaise, whose temples rival Mythal's cities.
Sylaise, whose breath rivals Andruil's spear.
Sylaise, whose skill rivals June's craft.
Sylaise, whose fire cannot be quenched.
We give ourselves gladly to your service.
Jeez, talk about bragging, this song reminds me of the song praising Corypheus and given what we know of the Elves, I woulnd't be too surprised if she became a big threat once Mythal died. My guess, after Mythal's murder and before Fen'harel's sealing, she became very power and ruled for a short time after displacing most of the Pantheon.
1. Falon'din could still be in recovery after failed world conquest
2. Andruil power/ memory of the void being seal by Mythal
3. Mythal's betrayal/ murder
4. In a temple of Sylaise there was a codex entry talking about a hare and hawke (Andruil symbols) chasing the Sun (Elgar'nan symbol)
Oh I saw that today.
No squee from me though until I see a wolf casually strolling back into Skyhold.
I'll squee! JoH's storyline was surprisingly good for an exploration-focused DLC. I can't wait to see what story DLC looks like, even if it's not about Solas.
Thought you guys might find this amusing:
Spoiler
WHAT'S UP NERDS
Oh, and there's more story DLC being worked on but who cares about that.
What?? *jumping for joy* Where was it announced?
Sorry, I've been following this thread for quite a while without writing anything (...or introducing myself...) but that is HUGE news!

Laidlaw tweeted about it earlier.
And hello!

Just checked and saw it, thanks! Stange, I follow him but didn't see it earlier... Anyways, YAYYYYY!
I hope so much we'll have our wolfy back. Skyhold seems empty without him... Plus he's gone with my best mage gear on..... ;-)

I think things are probably going to be more complicated than that. But there were other hints dropped about story DLC coming from Mike Laidlaw and others.
Laidlaw also mentioned a while back around the time of JoH's announcement, that some things, including the ending, people were curious about will be addressed in DLC but not everything.....so some aspects will be carrying over to a future game, in all likelihood.
Additionally he mentioned 'one particular arc' people had been asking for more about which seems to point to possible closure (and I hope so).

I just want to take his hands in mine, look him in the eyes and whisper: 'Solas, why? That was tier four. Dorian could've used that'
Guys this is very important:
Spoiler
Oh, and there's more story DLC being worked on but who cares about that.
I still need to finish a Fenris-romance... (must remember to reinstall DA2 on my new computer, something went weird last time)... because who doesn't want to romance elves with puppy dog eyes, who are named after wolves?
Also, desperately need more DLC... do we know how many they have in mind for Inquisition? The last few Bioware games have tended to have about 2 big DLC expansions, with a bunch of smaller content here and there.

Hahaha! That's exactly what I thought the first time I finished the game, among other things...

I'm holding out hope that if we get a darkspawn DLC then it'll be set in Kal-Sharok because they have been teasing us with that place since DAO. It would also be nice if the DLC was related to the War Table missions there. Maybe - how you completed that affects how you are treated in the city? It would help make the WT missions feel more connected to the actual game, as well as making the DLC itself feel connected to the game.
And we're getting Wolf Hunt. I don't doubt that.

For my second playthrough (current), I'm still contemplating whether or not to make him some hideous plaideweave gear or something for the final battle, but with my luck that is what he turns up in in DLC.

Plaideweave must certainly be the only thing that actually doesn't suit him... But you could also give him a tier 2 or 3 gear and tint it with silk brocade.
