Some Solas confessions (do you guys want me to keep reposting these here?)
Thavie...I just have to tell you. Your art is amazing. You always capture Solas so perfectly! Very few people are able to do that. 
Solas is atoning for his mistakes as well. He is helping The Inquisition. Grrr!! That makes me mad. I don't like Blackwall because of the way he talks, the way he looks and he's just creepy when he flirts. It really has nothing to do with his lies. Also..that puppy story..I know he was a kid at the time..but that story is just so disturbing. I love animals..so it really upsets me.
Also.. There can still be a happy ending. Solas does what he intended to do...and maybe be dies in Lavellan's arms. As long as he doesn't die alone...it's a happy ending to me.

Would you believe me if I say that I can't draw and these Solas portraits are my first digital arts? It's very odd for me, but it's true! Some ancient elven magic I suppose?.. It's all Solas fault, I'm sure of it!

My perfect ending would be like a Princess Bride ending. Solas lifts Lavellan up onto a white halla, they have a passionate kiss and ride off into the sunset. Someone should draw that. I have no art skills so I can't do it.

I'm not sure what my perfect ending with Solas would be, but all I ever wanted was for Solas and my Lavellan to have elven babies at the end, which probably won't happen in the game but there's always headcanon. xD
(Yes, I know lots of people here cringe at the thought of Solas with elven babies but hey, this is my personal headcanon I'm talking about.

I wish he would have at least shown up to say goodbye but I'm certain he didn't because that would have made it nearly impossible to walk away.

Oh this, this, this, this. I've said it before, and I'll say it again it's my one and only beef with the romance that he makes that decision for you and never comes clean. Totally within his character, yes. Totally heart rending yep. Has this ruined me for any other romance in DA:I, probably, especially since my brain is leaking Solas/Lavellan smut/fluff/angst when I REALLY need to finish my Alistair/Cousland fic.
On a slightly unrelated note to this particular post, it occurred to me that the conversations we are having about Message Sent are very editor/beta reader convos, makes me wonder if she has one.

Blackwall was selfishly motivated in the past, and joined the Inquisition under false pretences (his 'advice' about the treaties could've gone very badly for the Inqusition). Plus, the dog story. I couldn't like him after that (but if people do like him then that's great).

It's less that I think Solas would be a good dad (I actually think he'd be a bit of a disaster at first, especially with infants), and more that my Lavellan is one of my very few PCs who would be a good mom. My PCs aren't usually the kinds of people who would even want to have children, let alone be any good at it, but I personally love kids.
(Also, did anything interesting happen in the last few days? I missed my flu shot this year and I've been paying for it in semi-delirious mucous-ity

Gotta keep the game going. Unfortunately it seems Solas is the plot device meant to do this.
I don't foresee a situation like with Morrigan either. Whatever Solas is doing, he wants us far away from it. Which in itself is worrying but we already know he likes to lay everything he can on his own shoulders.
When we get the Wolf Hunt DLC, I imagine it'll be more of just a hint at what he's planning on doing. I highly doubt his story will get resolved in one DLC (at least I hope it isn't. This is the freaking Dread Wolf we're talking about. He could drive a whole game by himself after all the interesting lore we've been getting about him).

And I'm with you on Lavellan being a good mom. I RP my Lavellan as someone who is very family-oriented so she'd like to have kids of her own someday (and I'd like to think she'd make a good mom too).

My Lavellan is waaay too young to be having kids just yet (seriously, she's 18 at the start of Inquisition, makes it very interesting to rp as her) but I think she'd certainly make an interesting mother later on in life. She's a stone cold b*tch and very protective of her loved ones so her mama bear instinct would be quite a sight to see

Because, dammit, I want at least ONE of my DA pairings to have children. Alistair and Mahariel can't have because of the taint, and my Hawke is stuck in the Fade (and I don't think she and Anders would be having kids while they're on the run).
Same here. I'd like at least one of my female characters having children and a family.
I wanted this for my Nareth Tabris, she have very motherly instinct. (I always picture her as the more mature of the tree cousins, and she was the one who protected Soris and Shianni. I always loved the idea of the tree being childred together) But BioWare had to broke my headcanon of her and Alistair leaving the Warden to adopt some elven kids and living happily in a remote villge where nobody knew who they were. but no. BioWare have to always take out the Warden and never let her/him go. Really, people would not ask so much of the Warden if BioWare didn't tease so much about her/his phate!
Hawke I never had much interest in. Maybe the only one I have saved and is with Fenris, but all the others (actualy I played to colpetion only two) I'm glad I could let them die. 
Shepard I would have loved for her the house at the sea with her little baby Krogan adopted with Garrus. But than the tecnicolor ending and stupid Casper came... 
At least in Inquisition, I'd like a character with a happy ending.
