I'm sure it won't be. Not with how much they're stressing your control over your gaming experience, yadda yadda. I'm sure they put default Hawke in there to hype us up cuz otherwise, we'd just have thought those were two random people.

I KNOW! I WAS LIKE "OMFGGG LOVE!!!". I guess Solas is very important to the story, and will have a central role in the story. (it would be cruel now not to make him LI)

Default appearances are less of an issue than default race/gender/class for me (dunno about poor manabloom).

Yeah... I'm hoping we'll at least get a few 'preset' appearances to choose from in the Keep, so we can find one that's at least similar looking?

Yeah I don't think they're changing it to "You only have this 1 default preset." That wouldn't be very fair to the fans, I think they just showed one of the possible options there.

Seems to me like Solas is kind of teaching the Inquisitor how to close that rift. His expertise on the Fade coming into play, there?

 

This could mean he's an early addition to the party.

If Cassandra is the first warrior and Varric the first rogue, that leaves Solas or Dorian as the first mage, since Vivienne joins at a party later in the game.
