If only I didn't want to toss the Robes of the High Keeper onto a fire. 
Better would be incinerate the body so Shepard's corpse doesn't become a lab experiment, then someone's pawn, helpless and at the mercy of Cerberus's whims.
Liara giving the body to anyone and walking away as though she has no responsibility for what happens next is unforgivable.
BW involving her in that plotline does Liara no favours and honestly it works just fine without her.
As yes - ME2- ME3 - the sentient pile of ashes. FUN GAME.
I dunno - not asking you to like Liara - but this kind of story is super common in genre shows. Ressurrecting the main character through some totally questionable means. I personally don't think it's unforgivable -- you're the wronged party and how wronged were you? You lived and maintined your sense of self. Had you died the galaxy would have been screwed. Stupid and questionable BUUUUTTTT Shepard lived to save the day. Risk well taken methinks.

Except, again, she doesn't just walk away and wash her hands of it. Her work after this is dangerous and it is centrally focused on finding out what happened in spite of the danger, and then working to take on that power and come out at an advantage. There's a reason she doesn't tell Shepard right away, and a reason she keeps Shepard kind of at a slight distance even though it's not what she might like (especially if you were in a relationship).
She always maintains a connection with what happened, her role in it, and works another angle. The Shadow Broker was involved too and she's clearly spending time keeping an eye on multiple things, as well as working carefully to untangle others.
She's entirely plot relevant and no, the intricacy of what she does in all of this wouldn't have done without her. I was bummed she wasn't in my squad, but truly, given her personality, her background, and her knowledge, she was the perfect person to do all of this.
Either way, I'm getting off this now, but for a Solas comparison - he too has multiple things going on that aren't truly revealed for some time, but hinted at. I think that kind of depth, and that perserverance are compelling. Solas woke up to threats, danger, and upheaval. It was sad and seems to be appalling to him, leading to negative experiences even as he continues, determined to help, even though whatever his plans are might have terrible circumstances.
Essentially, it's risk taking. As I said, most of the original crew gave up and split up. Liara took a risk that could've ended badly, but this was the lesser evil, so to speak. More of a known entity. Solas seems to be preparing to take a risk too, and it seems that could also have a chance of going badly (and he seems to believe something will be going down as a result).

I do recommend the comics. I've read everything but a few issues of Foundation that I should catch up on one day.

The pale green pattern certainly doesn't match well with most colors. I really wish I could just give him a black-and-red version of that armor. I bet it would look hot

There's a mod that lets you tint more areas of the robe so it doesn't look quite so odd.
I'm hoping for one that swaps the scout armour model onto the high keeper robe. Since it's Merrill's default robe it seems much more magey to me.
And the resurrection was IMO already a tremendous stretch. There's only so much handwaving you can do before science fiction basically becomes space magic, and the Lazarus Project pirouetted over that limit. So at the point when I learned about Liara's involvement, I just went, "Meh, it was kind of a dumb plot device anyway. Moving on with hacking terminals!"
Yeah. It was so glaringly illogical itself that I was like you 'Liara was involved? whatevs...can someone please explain to me how my body survived a fall through an atmosphere???? ' And then I stopped caring because....WHO CARES? Tis only a game and ME2 was a ball. Though, looking back, I think that was one of the most egregious forms of sciencey hand waving. I mean...Adam Jensen(Deus Ex)makes sense since he was just riddled with bullets. And he was in a lab already. Shepard does not make sense. The body should have been pretty much dust. Maybe a charred husk if the suit preserved it. But it was ridiculous and made no sense. But I still cried. So hand-wavey space magic achieved!
