No, I love them both but I too wonder why Coles icon didn't change. Perhaps it is for the reason stated above, or it hasn't been made yet. It looks like the team is in the middle of changing the icons in general from the art style that represents Solas to one that is in the style of Cole/ Blackwalls icon.

I just found it weird because Cole's icon doesn't change at all, and Solas is like

BAM RED BACKGROUND HE LOOKS TOTALLY BEAT UP

But yeah, I guess we'll have to wait and see

The Inquisitor was being called "herald of Andraste" ...

 

Maybe that green glowing person in the trailer is Andraste... just saying.

Cole was also on fire earlier during battle and he didn't even flinch.
 

It kinda looks like Cole has a wound on the right side of his face, doesn't it?

Pretty certain that's his sunken in cheeks. In the Battle demo his picture looks just like that at full health.
It's very possible it's a feature that they aren't done adding in for everyone?

Also the part where Solas grabs the Inquisitor's hand was pretty sweet. Or... I saw it that way.

Did anyone else notice that Solas's icon turns really nasty looking suddenly?!

It kind of freaked me out, dunno if it has to do with low health?

But Cole's health is really low too and his icon doesn't change at all, he's a spirit but still...

 

Could be a status effect, like Bleeding, or perhaps showing that Solas has an Injury that he needs taken care of. (Did his health go all the way down, and he was brought back instantly by demo-shenanigans? Perhaps.)

 

I'm just so pleased we got to see not only Solas in-party, but Cole and Blackwall, too. And we saw Cullen! My number-two dude! [HAPPY SIGHS]

I think the glowing green lady reaching out to touch the Quizzie is Andraste. That's probably how we get the hand.

Aaryn talks right over Solas's one line of dialogue.

 

I still want to see a little more of the skill trees, especially for mages, Skyhold, and maybe, if the marketing team takes pity on us, who the last two LIs are.  I'm pretty happy otherwise.  Definitely worth the wait!  But how is it still three months away?

If anything, I think they're still in the middle of changing things. As much as I want to be like 'yeah, they're totally cool, like they could ship out the game right now and we could all play it', that's not the case. So I think some things are still being changed. Kind of like how I would expect Sera to get a quiver for her arrows at some time before the game is launched???

Yeah, I was bummed that we couldn't hear what Solas said, but seeing him in action was pretty awesome. And I had a swoony moment when the shot of him holding the Inquisitor's hand steady popped up in the trailer. At least we know he's not completely averse to physical contact!

I'll be honest, it was a little "meh" for me. The only thing that interested me was hearing the big bad talk and seeing Hawke there. They didn't spend as much time on Inquisition as I was expecting. It is nice that they put Solas, Blackwall and Cole in the party, though. I wonder if there will be any more information out of the con over all.

That's what I was thinking.  Solas is totally taking charge with that rift.

I hate to sound like a pissbaby, but it was a bit underwhelming indeed. (the demo part that is... but that trailer tho) The E3 demo had a mix in of cutscene and a lot focusing in on Sera/ Dorian/ Iron Bull/ and Leliana. However, there was only a cutscene in the end featuring the lady inquisitor and the scout they recruit. (Though there's only so much time they had, I guess I have to take that into consideration.)

Which I wonder if that's the scout the devs talk about being their favorite... I think I'm jumping to conclusions.

Though I do wonder if they may have an extended demo of this for PAX Prime (since it's so close). One with more cutscenes featuring Blackwall, Cole, and Solas. But, if not, I will have to cherish what was given and hold the Inquisitor and Solas holding hands close to my heart. (Even if it wasn't in a romantic way I just... erghnnnrrhhhggg... /attempts to cling onto any and all hope/)

I HOPE it's the first time we close a tear. Because that means that Solas is both super important (cuz he teaches us how to do it) and also that we must get him pretty early on! *crosses fingers*

That's what it looks like- either he's showing the Inq how it's done or the Inq is struggling for some reason. I kinda sense it's the latter, if only because that seems to be a theme with the Inq and the rift there seems to be ginormous.

He reminds me of the big white guys in Promethus. I wonder if Morrigan cast a spell on him to "read" his mind or did something similar to Yavanas necromancy.
