How are you all uploading your screenshots? I keep trying, but nothing I do seems to work. I have tried looking in my profile for a tab to upload stuff to share, but there doesn't seem to be one. The MyMedid button is pointless, it does not have an option to upload for me, and the picture icon just seem to accept URLs. What am I missing?

You have to host your image on a website and then link the URL thanks to the "link image" button on top of your message. For example I upload my images on

I use facebook when I'm being lazy because it's easy to upload from PS4 to FB direct (set the privacy to 'only me'), or imgur when I want a higher res image.

I've been using imgur, since it automatically gives you code on the sidebar, after you upload. I don't know if it's like tinypic, where your pics eventually get deleted and the urls get assigned to other things, but it works great for stuff that you just want to share quickly and don't need archived.

There are five wolves in this (blurry) picture,
And Dirthamen too,
If the placement of the statues has any meaning at all, considering how many wolf statues are in the Exalted Plains (including the monumental one in the mountains and the the ones in Ghilan'nain's Grove that clearly were part of an eluvian gate), I guess the Dales could have been Fen'Harel's lands. I mean the people who became the Dalish could have put at least some of them up, but the black and white set in GG has got to be ancient.
...so which set of ruins used to be his house? ![]()

Thank you to everyone who posted with advice on how to post screenshots.
My Lavellan: Enaris, 35, she has a twin sister Eleri who is a rogue archer,( I have yet to recreate Eleri after finally figuring out the CC), Her and her sister terrorized the Keeper of clan Lavellan with questions about everything growing up. She is not one to blindly accept the status quo and is hyper aware to the fate of extra Dalish mages as that could have been the fate of either her or her twin since it seemed like a toss up for a while where just one or both of them would develop the magic. She's insightful and empathic and a bit overwhelmed by the whole Herald thing. In fact, the whole Inquisition thing feels surreal to her since she's normally a bit introverted.
Dorain Photobombing my nice shot of Solas giving my Lavellan a side-long look. For the longest time, my mages were all in matching color-schemed outfits because those were the only materials I had

There are five wolves in this (blurry) picture,
Spoiler(Solas is barely visible in the righthand corner, tho. I wish I could go back and retake this). It always makes me goggle at just how many wolf statues are in Mythal's temple. Like you don't really see any Elgar'nan statues, and he's supposed to be her husband. Why did someone as strong as Mythal need to be protected by Fen'Harel? Then again...I guess we know, though the person (people) he needed to protect her from was unexpectedmy money is still on Dirthamen & Ghilan'nain.
And Dirthamen too,
Spoilerhe's got at least three very prominent wolf statues in his temple, the gold one in its very sanctuary. Methinks they were good friends and he wanted everyone to know it.

My understanding of the wolf statues, it that the majority of the ones in the Dales are actually honoring the Emerald Knights and their wolf companions, and do not have anything specifically to do with Solas/Fen'Harel. However, there are some sitting wolf statues that do possibly reference him, like the one(s?) in the temple of Dirthamen and one in the Temple of Mythal wich gives you a codex (I think, I haven's played that part yet). All of the howling wolves, however, do seem to be images of Fen'Harel. At least, I think that's how it works, someone please step in here if I am wrong...

Just sharing my Lavellan with you all. I wanted her to look serious and not too childish. In the menu she tends to look younger than I would like if compared with her in game look. But I like her. It still shocks me to see her without her vallaslin so here she is with it. Not to beat-a-dead-horse but I do wish we had some more hair styles.

That hairstyle horse will be beat for a looong time. BioWare is notorious for the really bad hair and I don't ever see it changing. I think I might actually have a heart attack if I saw anything good in the hair department in a future game! ![]()

Thank you so much for commenting on my Lavellan. I hadn't opened DAI in a bit and it was nice to see her again this morning. The music in the title screen made me feel sort of nostalgic. That hairstyle horse will be beat for a looong time. BioWare is notorious for the really bad hair and I don't ever see it changing. You know, I found a cool hair cut in DAO for my Dalish Rogue. Something with 3 tiny pigtails and some messy bangs. It gave her a rugged but feminine look. I think in DAI we were missing choices and a lot of the female hair looks too quaffed for my girl. I don't know...personal taste is weird thing and it's hard to please everyone. So I just went with the classic braided thing.

Yeah, I think the howling wolves always represent Fen'Harel, and it's kind of a toss up for the others if its not otherwise specified because there's not much difference between the ones in the ancient temples and the ones out in the open. I got the sense that the one in the back of Suledin Keep was probably a Fen'Harel idol, but like most of the ones around the Exalted Plains/Emerald Graves were for the Emerald Knights - except for maybe that giant one on the mountain, I mean if you're going to put that much manpower into a giant wolf statue maybe it's for a god.

Please still feel free to chime in with any thoughts that you have! Even if it's somewhat a repeat of what someone else has said, everyone's thoughts and opinions are of value and interest me.
@Everybody thank you for sharing your Lavellans! I really enjoyed looking through them. Elf chars are best chars!
I forgot to share my mLavellan (rogue, dw), Sgian (Skee-an) - he's around 19-20, intended to look young/boyish, cute/adorable. He's an earnest, quiet, curious, gentle and really selfless & compassionate little guy, but clumsy, flighty, not-the-sharpest, overly trusting and socially awkward. Raw and untested, he's destined for Cassandra even though for much of the game he's more terrified of her than he is of the Breach/Cory, lol. After that he's all doe-eyed starry-eyed over her hahaha. Is very afraid a lot of the time and not very good at hiding it, tries to mask it with humor. Spends most of the game flying ****-scared by the seat of his pants, missing his mom a lot and deferring to Cass. Hates being in a leadership position and it's a big burden for his little shoulders. Poor little beb. He's the cheerful sort tho, optimistic. He's basically the polar opposite of my canon Gryff, lol.
may be changing his vallaslin type in the BE later, could never make up my mind which was best for him.
Oh, I have lots of thoughts about tarot in general and specifically within the DAI context.
I like the ideas I've read so far, particularly the cross-combo of several major arcana in Solas' case. And I did want to say that from experience I know the Tower is not nearly as terrible as it is made out to be, yet it is often perceived as terrible and I think that an important distinction.
Well anyway, I don't necessarily want to launch everyone back into it, but I think there is at least a modicum of actual symbology that has been worked into DAI and even were we to consider it merely an aesthetic design choice, I tend to think that (whether consciously or not) a lot could be scryed from what choices they made if we interpreted the chosen cards traditionally.
Ohhh, Lavellan sharing! I'm not great at capturing the best moments and I sadly don't have a screenshot of all my PC's (apart from some quite amusing shots where they can't be made out but they're hardly the point there), so I'll just toss up my canon and my m!Lavellan. If anyone's interested. I'm sure I shared this at some point way back when, but why not.
Gwenhyfar Lavellan:
Raeslyn Lavellan, and I want to point out the quite amusing setup of this scene with Cassandra glaring in the background like a specter of displeasure. She disapproves greatly. Sadly this is still a shot before I could start to do some fixing about his hair at the BE, but he's largely unchanged. I'm a secret admirer of my Raeslyn.

Everyone has such pretty and handsome Inquisitors...
I don't have any screen shots, but I found some pictures that are pretty close. Because I have such a hard time making characters, I usually find some I like online and then tweek them. I am not creative.
Atisha Lavellan - Solasmancer
http://i.imgur.com/nabAqk3.png - Pretty much exactly the same except Atisha has white hair and her nose is smaller
Julianna Trevelyan - Cullanmancer
http://i.imgur.com/YSkwdlu.jpg - With red hair, tan skin and green eyes.
My Quinari who's name I can't think of right now because I haven't touched her in months and I stopped playing her after I got IronBull.

My completely average, no-nonsense Lavellan:
The angle doesn't show off the scars down her cheek and neck, but they are there. I tried remaking her in the CC for a second run and ended up with a doll-looking version of what could be Merrill's little sister. Cute, but not my idea of a get-things-done Inquisitor. ![]()
It's fun looking at everyone else's Lavellans, so thanks to everyone that's posted them.

my Ameridan/Telana (hereafter Amerana) feels are stronger than my Solavellan feels (which are considerable so that is saying something) and today I was thinking about them and had a realization and now I've come to share it and my subsequent sad headcanon with you all so you can join me in my suffering
since clan Ghilain (modern Dalish) is likely descended from Ameridan it's feasible that Amerana had children. now they could have been grown or neargrown by the time their parents quest but maybe not, maybe they were young and Amerana were forced to leave them in the care of family or trusted friends before departing on their final journey and those kids never saw their parents again they never came back and they never knew what became of them
but wait it gets worse
ameridan and Kordilius I were close friends, maybe their kids played together as younglings and were childhood friends and ****.. we all know what happened years later when post Amerana disaperance human-elf relations soured and Kordilius II betrayed them and destroyed the Dales ;____________;

I......I.......damn.
On a similar sad Solas note one day it dawned on me that it is entirely possible that Solas had kids way back in the day. And what if one of the first Dalish Clans he approached were his descendents. I mean...that would sting just a little.
Also, maybe this was one of the many "considerations" Solas had to figure out. Luckily it seems implied then that he figured out somehow that Lavellan is not related to him so yay!
Also, I wondr if he sees modern elves and if any of them look like elves he knew in ancient times. That could be awkward.
