Well, during E3, most of the information came from interviews post-conference. So, maybe?

What if when the Inquisitor gets pushed into the fade and gets their mark, Solas finds them, brings them back into the physical world, and guides them on closing the tears. That would give Cassandra a reason to believe in the Inquisitor and keep them alive, and a good reason to make you the tip of the spear. If you like it or not.

 

Oooo....I can see that.  It does look like that can be that area where Cass (who is there) finds you and rawrs at you after the initial blast.  If Solas is there right from the beginning, I reallly like this.

 

Damn, now I want my Inquisitor to struggle with the rifts a lot... I should be wishing to be competent, I know, but hey.

The best part of the close-up gif, aside from the tough-love manhandling (I hope) is the textures on their armor. Even Solas' scalp looks realistic.

I, for one, do not want to see him being more gentle with a lady inquisitor.  My lady is very much looking forward to her manhandling (especially if that's the only contact she's going to get).  Please take charge often, Solas.

It'll be interesting to see the interviews. I wonder if they'll give us any information like who's booming voice that was in the trailer or more on Hawke and the warden in DA:I. The voice says "the elder one still comes", so it seems like maybe he's not the main bad guy, himself? Or maybe he is and you have to stop him from bringing the elder one into the world? Or maybe he talks in the third person. Also, what's with the dragon fight at the end? Do we recruit dragons to the Inquisition? And is the glowy square headed guy in the fade that Inquisitor reaches towards at the start maybe the one that gives you fade powers? So many thoughts and so much coffee, ahhhh. D:

There's a new trailer with awesome things, like Solas being nails. And Hawke. Not sure if the EA presentation is up and where but he was in it too.

New gameplay featuring Lady Trevelyan, Solas, Cole, and Blackwall.  New WHOA trailer.  Hawke is confirmed in the game.  And lots of other stuff, honestly I'm still trying to absorb it all.

But holy wow he's stronger than he looks isn't he? He manhandles the Inquisitor's arm so forcefully that their head snaps back a little. Don't arm wrestle Solas.

Not exactly.  He has one line of ambient dialogue that Aaryn Flynn talked over.  So he speaks but no one heard him.
