Oh I see, the part where it says "embark on a last adventure with your team". So it alludes to it being about the final DLC, not necessarily the next DLC. That could be. Either way, I'm just excited for all the hints we've been getting about upcoming stuff!!!

Or it could be that this DLC is the next  one and the final DLC is an adventure where somebody else is the PC

 

It could also be that those things described in that survey won't happen or some of them will happen. Hard to say.

I believe that if the "last adventure with our team" part is true, it just means that there won't be anymore DLCs or stories with inquisitor. I don't think it means more deaths.

 Well, at least the "killing in his personal quest" nets you quite some approval, so doing this actually helps.

 

If you choose to tell him that's a Pride demon and outright kill it without any attempt to save it, he'll greatly disapprove. Also, this can lock you out of a romance too. He'll talk about keeping a working relationship or something like that.

 

 

Punching a romanced Dorian is worse, though.  His kicked puppy face afterwards is just heartbreaking.  There's so much emotion put into that scene.  You can really see the betrayal he feels at being treated like that by a man he thought he'd found a chance of a real relationship with.

Call me awful but I think that scene is hilarious and so ridiculous.  Dorian goes down like a ton of bricks.  And you punch him not push him. Like...what?   So what he does, does not warrant a punch. Yet you do it. Then when you do it, he collapses on the ground?  It's a bit silly.  It's so absurd and like insane on the Inquisitor's part  - not even evil - just like 'wtf?'  that I can't feel bad.  Same thing with Solas, it's like 'Why?'. 

 

Ass-Quisitor was a good name for it. You were just a douche.  You have all this power and you can't be evil. It was very disappointing.

Didn't I say over and over again that I do understand the logic? I even paraphrazed it a few times myself.

I don't reject it either, I simply do not accept it as official canon until they clearly confirm it in a game.

Hey May, are you still working on the Pantheon Unleashed?

Oh yes. I have been working on the sketches for the first installment. I have glorious plans for my paint drawn pantheon! They include, but are not limited to, personal apologies to each member from Solas, moving into Skyhold, crazy love interest shenanigans, Dirthies and tea time with Falon'Din.

My husband even started to get a little worried because everytime I start working on this stuff I start cracking up at my computer. He hasn't really played the DA games, so the whole pantheon thing goes over his head. He walked away worried when I was all like " look at what a 2000 year time-out did to Elgar'nan!" while laughing hysterically.

But yeah, having way to much fun with this to not continue it somehow. I know it should technically be over in the Pantheon Thread, I just didn't know how people would take it.

I do have a tumblr account though. I really only use it to look at stuff......I suppose I could try posting there.

Tumblr is scary though and I don't quite get it. We shall see.

Did you guys find that your companions were more chatty during a second playthrough? I have gotten more banter with my new Lavallen than I did with my original. I know there a weird bug that the developers can't replicate, but it really seems like patch 8 made a difference, because before I was still getting next to no banter. Yet patch 8 had more to do with multi-player than anything else.

All I just hope from the DLC, IF there will be a new protagonist on the next game (Which I assume) that they would let us see what happens to solas and I really want to just to get to see the story of his till the end. I do not hope too much romance stuff because honestly I am just so intrigued just because of his whole story.. there are so many blanks and mysteries that I need to see what happens even if I have maaany assumptions. Anyways.. IF as I think they will.. well at least they should add a small part at least there which has something to do with the romance. Even a couple of sentences.. but yes.. of course I would like there to be more.. just maybe one scene.. even a small one or something.. but yet.. the story of his.. I need to know that And I really wanna see the face of my lavellan when she gets to know that he is the dread wolf.... hehehehe...

Does anyone else like to imagine younger Solas to be a bit like Jareth? Not in the kidnapping children way... but you know. Tight pants, charming, witty, a little bit wicked?  I can just imagine them in the Winter Palace, Solas getting Lavellan in a state, and then this happening:

Quick question, if some doesn't mind answering: Has anyone in here, had any issues updating to Patch 8, on the PC?

I did read from a couple threads, that a few were having issues (both Xbone and PC). It appeared in those cases, Origin (or XBL, for those having issues on their Xbone) had errors - of some sort - while downloading/installing said patch.

Haven't had any trouble yet, downloading any of the Patches. I generally waited a few days, before doing so, to see if problems were created by said patches.

Fun, wild speculation time! Let's see where I can go with it.

 

Like everyone, I keep wondering what surprise Solas/Fen'Harel might have in store for us and one of them is this - is anyone else entertaining the thought that whoever he locked away or saved or is trying to save aren't actually other elvhen gods, but.... family members? 

Like, you know, wife, kids, uncle... pesky mother-in-law an that other cousin nobody likes?

 

I kid, because it's a wonder whether immortal elves had the same familial structure as, say, mortals do, but... there is a possibility that among those he's locked/saved/is in the process of saving, are those he treats as family, including his actual significant other.

 

Lol, can you imagine Lavellan finding out that she's the other woman?

 

Some may argue that Solas is too principled to do this to her and it would be wrong, but whatever the reason, Solas seems to be convinced he's doing the wrong thing anyway and it will leave Lavellan hurt... So why not that?

 

Then there's the question if Fen'Harel is actually a monogamist I mean, those who live forever (or very, very loooong) and may not adhere to the concept of normal, mortal family might not feel it's necessary to stay faithful to just one person... In fact, why should they?

Alright...because Amazon's 20th year anniversary is on the 15th..they are having a huge sale with discounts that are supposed to be better than Black Friday. I might be getting my new computer sooner..woot. 

 

Anyway..I want some input on which computer I should get that will play DAI alright. I don't need super great graphics I just want the game to run smoothly.

I don't know too much about the stuff in those units, so unfortunately I can't give as much advice as some other folks here. If you don't get a good answer here try looking it up on newegg (good for reviewing computers)! But here is another to consider:

Yeah I've entertained that maybe who he wants to free aren't necessarily other elvhen gods or people. Mostly I wonder if the bit about Fen'Harel being neither a Creator nor Forgotten One is just a fancy way of saying he was half, or that maybe he was half mortal, or something else entirely. Depends on who/what the Forgotten Ones actually were. I hadn't thought about an actual family, but I don't see why not, I'm sure he must have had one at some point. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a wife, though knowing bioware I'm sure she is probably long dead by now. Doesn't mean he isn't still grieving about it though.
