To be honest I think that would have been a rumor.  They haven't confirmed anything about the next DLC that I've heard.

The devs have heard most of it before so they definitely do troll at this point. They get it all the time. It's amusing even while the wait is not fun.

Well it really did come out well. And I think no creative person is ever really satisfied but it is good to step back and appreciate your own stuff sometimes.

 

I didn't get anything new up since I am visiting my mom for the weekend, so I just reposted two pieces full of feels from AO3 to Tumblr. One sweet happier times, one right after the breakup.

Solas dies? We fight Solas and possibly have to kill him? We have to decide between Solas and X? The Inquisitor must give up their life for whatever, and in the case of a romanced Lavellan it's a tear-jerking response from Solas to watch this happen? The Inquisitor helps Solas avert a great disaster, and romanced Lavellan gets the opportunity to go off with Solas and be together? Solas doesn't appear at all, but we get a note left on our desk, or a Fade dream where he says goodbye properly?  I'm probably missing a few possible scenarios.

 

It's all good as long as the story is done well and makes sense. I'd prefer to not be drowned in the "sads" for the sake of it, but a really well done scene that pulls the proper emotions would be fine. Sometimes a good old bawl while involved with a movie or book or game is wonderful. Dammit Mordin.

 

I suppose we may not get anything at all, and some might prefer that. But it would leave me without closure as a player, and I'd always wonder and feel like the story was unfinished.

I was also wondering about scarring all over his head... I mean, did he burn his hair out or something >.>?

My theories about the scar:

- He was made tranquil at one point

- He was knocked out on the forehead by Mythals killer. Which might mean it was someone he knew. Otherwise the murderer would have killed him as well. (I'd wager)

- He was the "Fell Wolf" in the JOH codex; stabbed in one of his eyes while in wolf form.This would be between 800-900 years ago and Solas was in Uthenera for around 1,000 years. Supposedly.....

 

Of course this is all just pure speculation, not truth.

Well, that is unexpected. Airbag undone by jewelry.   I did trip and fall....in front of my entire classroom. My face decided to land on my teacher's organizer, which broke and sliced my nose. It's hardly visible now unless you're looking.

 

I'm kind of fascinated by scars so I do find Solas' intriguing, especially given the whole elven immortality/ 'god' stuff but still susceptible to scarring and of course, injury and murder.

I'm not aware of a Fen'Harel and the Mabari legend, only the tale of Fen'Harel and the Keeper's courser? Merill tells it to Hawke's Mabari but I don't think the dog in the tale is a Mabari. Mabari are warhounds (Fereldan in origin probably-kinda, unless Fenris is to be believed). The Keeper's dog in the legend is a courser - a hunting dog. I don't think Dalish have Mabari.

• He had severe acne in his youth.
• He's secretly Harry Potter (different shape, I know, but the location fits).

Oh, you must have missed it then.

 

A few pages back I came up with the hysterical idea of the Pantheon coming back....and them being.....well.....different. Sorta.

 

And since I have Paint and the art skills of a 5 year old I have decided the internet needs to see the hysterical reality of the elven pantheon trying to make a living again in the world of Thedas after a 2000 year time out. So far it seems like the main characters in it are Falon'Din, Dirthamen and June. I'm not sure about posting it over in the Pantheon thread though. Kinda scared to leave this place to do anything. Plus Solas and Lavellan are going to be in it plenty so it works out.

 

So, yeah.......

 

I am the pantheon thread. No literally I am. My whole fanart Tumblr is dedicated to them. Also Giton. Her writing about them is amazing. god tier ^{no pun intended} level of writing.

Hasn't the pantheon thread been dead for months? I posted in it excitedly after discovering it not to long ago, only to realise most people who were on it were pretty scarce.

 

Yes it has been but only because the Pantheon is not very popular. I would be happy to post in it again if you would like to discuss theories since the Pantheon members are such a divine topic.
