... Why do I have a feeling that if game devs put in pink (or red or purple) lake in fantasy game, many people would just deem is as "too unrealistic"? XDDD
Pretty and I wonder about its significance. Why are there two massive statues of Ghilan'nan there? Why is Solas taking Lavellan THERE to (supposedly) reveal truth about himself?
Is there some sort of in-story importance, or did they just pick it for that particular shot?
This is a bit off-topic, but pointing out the Ghil connection here just made me realize: where's Sylaise's statuary?
Mythal has her dragons scattered around. F'H same, wolves. Dirthamen, bear art. Falon'din, ravens. Elgar'nan, owls (originally, I think? Transitioned to F'D.) Ghilan'nain, halla. Andruil, the "archer" statues. June, the proto-paragon dwarves.
The wyvern statues, maybe? The self-insertion into the Andraste mythos would kind of fit, plus the close cousin-relationship to dragonkind...
I don't know. It just struck me as weird. Aside from her inclusion in the ToM mosaics and a tiny shrine filled with other members' statuary, Sylaise seems almost invisible in Ferelden.
