Hey... um... sorry to interrupt the flow of the thread. Long-time lurker, first-time poster. *blush*
I wouldn't post at all, except I discovered this picture, which seemed to perfectly symbolize how Solas broke our--um, Lady Lavellan's heart.

Apparently it, and many pictures about a pale, naked, long-haired girl (usually with a bunny mask) and a black wolf, was made by the artist Chiara Bautista. She has stated in her facebook page that the rabbit girl and wolf are meant to symbolize this girl's love life:

However, I can't help but feel they can also symbolize Solas' and Lady Lavellan's relationship.
Solas is the wolf, obviously. The wolf being the Night Sky can also symbolize Solas' connection to the Fade, and being the Ancient Elvhen God Fen'Harel.
Lady Lavellan is the girl with the bunny mask (particularly if your Lavellan is pale and/or with long hair), and the girl's bunny mask ("the rabbit in the moon") can symbolize her being Elvhen, since bunnies and elves both have pointed ears, and some DAI humans call elves "rabbit" as an insult. (Ahem, Gaspard to Briala.)
I feel like many of these pictures can "symbolize" various points in their relationship. For example:
This can symbolize Solas and Lady Lavellan consulting a map when out and about.

This can symbolize Lady Lavellan comforting Solas after he's heartbroken about losing his friend.

This can symbolize Lady Lavellan crafting special armor just for Solas.

This can symbolize them consulting detailed maps of new areas, especially uncharted regions. And the bunnies with them can symbolize the benevolent Fade spirits they want to protect, or even Cole, since Cole likes rabbits. (Remember during the Wicked Grace game where he says, "I like the part with the rabbit in it" after Lady Lavellan tells a story?)

This can represent the exact moment she gave up her vallaslin for him, if she did (bunny mask = vallaslin? since vallaslin = dedication to being elven?), and that brief moment when they're both happy.

And this can symbolize the aftermath of Solas taking her vallaslin, and the little bunny admonishing the wolf for taking her mask can represent Cole admonishing Solas for taking Lady Lavellan's vallaslin and leaving. ("She is bare-faced, embarrassed, and she doesn't know.")

And finally, to wrap this up, and bring this full-circle, I feel like this picture can symbolize the Solas romance fandom's heartbreak. The man in the suit represents Patrick Weekes, the little octopus girl represents all of us wanting a happy ending, and the picture in the story represents what we want to happen, but might not. ("The story of Solas is not a happy one."
)

So... yeah... um... Th-that's all I wanted to share. If you wanna see more artwork by her, check out her facebook. *runs and hides*
