Summary:  [Post Game][Solas/Lavellan] Where was the Maker when the Chantry turned on innocents? Where was He when the burnings began? Was He the one who sent the Seekers into our villages? Into our cities? Into our homes and into our lives? The Chantry claimed many things. Prophetic visions. Divine will. Reincarnation. Certainly, the blame for what happened can be laid at their feet. In the end, however, it was we who made the decisions. We were responsible because we did nothing to stop them. Nobody was happy, even those who still believed in the Maker and his will. Most of us bowed our heads, hiding and hoping that the storm would blow over. When our neighbors were taken - when the people we loved and cared about were stolen from us - we sat in silence and allowed tragedy to unfold.

 

 

Just finished reading this and I must say I can't wait for more chapters!

I'm definitely more of a fluff than smut person, so that category fits, I suppose. Not that I haven't enjoyed some smut, like sensual art  but the overly graphic stuff isn't my thing. Even on the two occasions I've written fics containing smut it has been mild and brief and really emotional. The thing I've been stuck on for a Solavellan fic I've been trying to finish is a bit of mild smut that I need to undo the corner I've written myself into at some point.

I have to admit, I shall be forever baffled by Solas' eye design. They gave him droopy eyes >_>, which also aren't that big or wide-open - and they're made look even smaller by really large irises.... yet, they manage to offset that by making the eyes really deep-set and gave him a peculiar lower lid shape, plus a pair of low, straight brows.

Agreed, it's and interesting and not often encountered choice that the designers made. I like the uniqueness of it! Droopy deep set eyes FTW!
