How do all you people manage to make a Lavellan that looks good with red vallaslin?
I...I struggle with character creators.
When I give a character vallaslin or tattoos, I tend to have the slider go for a really blood red colour that's verging on black, go for either dark or red hair, as well as similar shading when I get to the makeup etc, so it can nicely accent and compliment their features.
Because I definitely far too much time making my female characters look good, whereas when it comes most of my guys, I go into the character creator with more of an attitude where I'm thinking to myself, "Is the nose, mouth or hair okay... it is? Ballin', lets go!"
(Well, I spend about 10-20 minutes when it comes to creating male characters, compared to about 20-25 on women. Still a while, but clearly more when it comes to women)
When you get a chance, could you let me know how old she is, her sub-specialization, whether she keeps her vallaslin, and whether she drinks from the Well?

I see from your blog you already got my Tala's age and sub-specialization. For the other details, my Tala had Solas remove her vallaslin and she didn't drink from the Well.

Well, it's not like I got very far into my Dalish origin playthrough, anyway. I'll keep you guys updated on the adventures of the Tala Mahariel whenever I get the time to play Origins.

Lavellan drank without hesitation. I'm not too sure what choices my other Inkies will make. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Pretty much all of my Lavellans, as well as my GiantNerdCircleMage, did.

My Solasmancer Lavellan drank as well. Her reasoning was pretty simple: "This is my people's heritage. Like hell I'm going to let that witch have it"

I really wish we could play Lavellan as a Warrior Archer like in Origins, as they could become even more over-powered than the rogue archers by end-game, especially in Awakening. Rogues are fun, but they need to get back some of their skills and relevance to have in the party, anyone remember when they were our most versatile member unable to open chests, doors and disarm traps?

Mmm....I'm thinking Reaver suits a girl with Elgar'nan's vallaslin the best. And She will keep her vallaslin and drink from the Well.
And for age, let's go with a nice number like.....23.
That's an odd coincidence, my headcanon for my Lavellan has her around 23 as well.
(Trevelyan is about 25/26, Adaar is 28 and Cadash is 35)

Tala Mahariel is going to either be a mage or an archer. I quite like the idea of warrior/archers though. It's a shame I don't like playing archers. I may respec Oghren as an archer since Alistair is my sword and shield guy and Sten is using a two handed sword.
I dunno, the idea of Oghren firing a bow while drunk seems like it'd be even more dangerous than letting him fight sozzled with a two-hander.

If it makes you feel any better, I spend fifty minutes getting it just so, am horrified by the abomination, then scrap it and start over, and then start over the entire game, then just go and play the Witcher and fume until I realize I've just spent 400 gold on shifting between beard styles, then try making another Inquisitor, deleting it, starting over, and eventually change the color and face shape of one of the pre-sets and hope my fiance won't notice and make fun of me for it.*
*100 percent success rate for her so far on that.
