I can only say this so many times. Video game tattoos are a stupidly bad choice. I know they love the game, but why get something unoriginal that will not reflect your taste , or be remembered in ten years. Yes the Qun tattoo looks nice, but to anyone who isn't not a DA fan it is going looks like your artiest drew the Native American symbol that looks a lot like it upside down.

So it is like a doll face? You paint it on and then you use a sealer. Only in this case, The Keeper paints on a blood mix and seals it with magic.

I think anything with real personal meaning can make a good tattoo, but after it stands some time and is still meaningful to you. I don't have any, but if I did there are about three things that have been meaningful for 10,15, 20 years that I would consider. I think the only game-related tattoo I might consider would be a tiny triforce. I have friends with Final Fantasy ones, comics stuff, it kind of depends, I guess. Nothing in DA has lasted that long yet.
There's at least one person out there with a Solas tattoo as of several months ago and it's like.....'Yeah, I think that may be too soon'.

Oh I don't know, I think he looks really good in the mail armor version (lots of mails look really cool though, Inquisitor's as well, but I shall forever envy Cassandra her awesome mail armor), predominantly the higher tier ones.
....Though I can't help to think that this armor is kind of a dead giveaway - like, WHERE do apostate hobos find something so goddamn *elaborate*, especially with that spiffy triangular/fold design on the coat, that can be only achieved by very clever sewing/hooking it to back of the belt?

The hair is truly bad there. But as you said, the story isn't over. Maybe Solas will hold no meaning to this person in five years, let alone 30,40,50 years?
This is why if I choose to get one (unlikely, I have reactions to needles - I would probably be the world's worst Dalish elf) , it will be something that has held meaning for me for at least 10-15+ years.

In 10-15 year of time we might yet get a relatively quick and easy way to both adding and remove tattoos, meaning that the art of tattooing itself will likely become really popular.... but design choices will become even more questionable^^;

Apparently the area with Mythal is just another part of the area from Here Lies the Abyss. Apparently if you head out far enough, you can see the Black City.
While it still doesn't necessarily make sense that it's part of that area, it sounds like they just stabled all of the Fade areas together to save time?
Now that I am thinking about it, I should've written a short tale of why I'd be the worst Dalish elf for the self-insert week on Tumblr recently. With vallaslin you're supposed to submit to it and be silent to show you're ready for your adulthood. I wonder if someone like me who is prone to reactions and even passing out would be exiled or just side-eyed forever.

Yes, those little flea-like things running around at the bottom near the frozen lake is indeed the Inquisition troops. I found it interesting and amusing when I first saw it while I was running around the battlements (even in the PS3, those little guys are visible). Also, turns out this pops up in a certain area.

Very likely - there's no point of creating another 'Fadey" zone if they can just re-use one they already have, especially if finding out that we're in the same one requires a flycam.
