(Lemme backtrack here a sec)

So this tweet from yesterday:

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

For the record: @PatrickWeekes has just deployed "probletunity" in a professional context again. Still workin' it!

Maybe "probletunity" is a reference to how Solas' romance was created and added in during game development? Note that he stated "again". Could Mike be dropping a hint that Weekes is writing some more about the romance?

Does anybody else think so or am I just reading too much into it?

Might be reading a tad too much into it. I think he was just slagging Patrick off for his big words. They have a fair bit of back and forth on twitter.

Since I didn't know what the word meant I googled and found this:

http://blog.bioware....f-mordin-solus/

Which makes my chest hurt for a multitude of reasons.

More likely than nothing to just be poking fun.

This is the point where we begin to really lose it. Send help, devs. ;)

There are so many problems and 'probletunities' that rise when writing a branching, interactive story - might as well be some plot point or plothole that arose while writing for upcoming DLC and may mess thing in any DLC after it or DA4...

In any case, I think they've discussed Solas romance and what consequences implementing it might have even before they've added it to DAI. Let's face it -  they had to know that many people will be curious about it OR how it will end, especially after the post-credit stinger. I wouldn't be surprised if they've had that plot point resolved even before finishing the main game.

Thanks for replying guys!

(I reached my like quota for the day again. *sigh*)

@ Commander of the Grey: Hmm...yeah it could be about Solus. Or they might be working on the genophage subplot. I forgot about that.

Edit: Then again, I don't even know what they're going to do in ME:A. I'm steering clear of those forums to avoid spoilers. Just like I did for DA:I for almost a year. lol

This is like the Breach... It's creepy and it hurts my eyes, but I can't stop looking at it in fascination.

Well. We can look at it this way: the kittens had a good and caring home, so they knew happiness and love before they passed away. And maybe by studying them vets will help other kittens in the future.

Not just kittens but many humans!

I meant it more along the depressing lines that he wrote both characters (and we know how the first one turned out) so if it's in the context of Solas now.....

Don't pay any attention to me though. xD I hope for the best (bittersweet anyway) but completely expect the worst scenarios possible that way I won't be absolutely devastated.

I'm actually hoping that the mark flares up for whatever reason during some conflict or another, and the Quiz is faced with it finally consuming her. I was reminded of this because of a line from Solas at the beginning of the game where he says "We must hurry before the mark consumes her."

Even though, at the time, it was because of the breach growing and effecting it but I'm sure there are other things that might cause it to become unstable.

I think it would be awesome and nail biting to have to deal with trying to save your life while say...halting the Qunari if that rumor is true. Or halting it, believing you're going to die. A final hoorah! With Solas showing up at the end to save you. I'd say or not depending if you had a terrible relationship (friend wise) but I don't believe he's vindictive. And might anger the folks who punched him. xD

Well, whether he likes the Inquisitor or not, it's still his fault. He'd better save her.

That would be awesome!

Solas: *reigns fire upon the Qunari* Hello. I'm back! :) *wave*

Quiz: WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!!!!!!

Solas: Oh, about that..... I had to go with Plan B since the orb broke. I got better. See? Pine fresh! :D

*flaming corpses strewn about*

Quiz: I see.....

Art time. :P

Solas and Lavellan reunion after DAI.

Cute little sketch of Solas and Lavellan.

Fen'Harel WIP.

Brooding is what elves do best.

Shirtless Fen'Harel. (Slightly NSFW?)

Two different backs. Both bald. But one true egg. (i.e. Solas) ;)

Parody of The Lion King. :P

Not art, but Solas in The Elder Scrolls. :P

Abit off topic but I think I am subconsciously refusing to finish the game till I know if we are going to get a Solas based DLC or at least some kind of Solas related content. Also, I tried to play JOH with Solas post break up and I really could not even look at him. So, even though I love all his little insights, I think my canon Quizzy will be running that post main campaign.

I did it post-game, and it was great! Well, I did miss having Solas in the party, but that's probably appropriate because Lavellan would miss him way more. (Still, it wasn't as bad as Origins when I didn't take Alistair with to the Deep Roads, since Oghren plus warrior Warden were already in the party. I like physically felt his absence and it was terrible)

The whole Hakkon chapter makes more sense to me when it happens post-Corypheus fight, anyway, and she can really prove herself further as Inquisitor. Otherwise it always felt like putting the final battle on hold for no reason. "Cory, I'mma let you finish, but..."

You coud also play JOH and not take him. I did an entire playthrough where I almost never took Solas with me. (It was the one right after my Lavellan playthrough, of course.) My IQ was a warrior Trevelyan, so I opted for bringing both Dorian and Vivienne to most paces. Most of the time their insights were not too shabby either, and in the Temple of Dirthamen specifically I was surprised that Vivienne explained what was going on much better than Solas.

I missed Solas sometimes, especially at the ball. I would walk past the spot where he usually stands and feel weird at him not being there and talking about how much he is enjoying himself  :crying:  But overall it was very refreshing, my Trevelyan got very close to characters whom Lavellan has regarded with cold indifference because she saw so much through Solas' lens.

Well, if it's post-breakup one could always headcanon it as, "I need to kill some enemies, close some rifts, and do some vaguely relevant historical research to clear my head, because I can't afford to face Corypheus while I'm still an emotional wreck."

When I take Oghren and Alistair into the Deep Roads with an active romance the first banter I ever get with Oghren is 'So... with the boss?'

I love my inappropriate drunk dwarf.
