Meh..anyway...  I was never depressed or cried or anything. I just love the story. When I love a story I will always love it.  I enjoy the conversations in here and sharing art. That is why I am still here after all this time.

Hellspiraling (for me at least) is just part of the fun of being a Solasmancer.  It seems there's a sort of running joke in the DA fandom that you shouldn't romance the mage as the levels of betrayal get progressively worse.  Crying over Solas is the new Morrigan Disapproves or Dammit, Anders.

My current DAI mage run basically has the Weekes party - Solas, Cole, and Iron Bull. I didn't think about that until recently.  I do sometimes swap Sera in but I wanted to get max Solas and Cole feels this time around. Though Cole, and Sera both react badly to the Fade and so not sure who I will bring on that one. I feel evil bringing Cole but I also maybe find it a bit fitting? I might make him more human for the sake of a different choice this time around and maybe I'd headcanon it as stemming from that bad experience.

Thanks! I think? I never thought dealing with the dead ones was too bad, but dissecting them (under a microscope, so they look gigantic) takes some getting used to. Oh, well, it's for the good of mankind and better understanding disease and such. Plus, flies are fascinating creatures. 
 
Haven't worked with dumpy, but hooray for crazy fly gene names. My favorite one is the happyhour gene.

I'm going to feel awful doing it, but that option will be what my mage does. She won't remove her vallaslin and she'll misinterpret and kind of lose it a bit and take the angry route. In all versions you can tell they are both deeply hurt by this but it will also feel like an opposite since the first time he left her standing there looking sad and lost and now my mage will leave him standing there looking like a sad puppy.
