Usually, when I'm really taken by a work of fiction which has a vast, detailed world behind it, I end up becoming less interested in the snippets we get from the work itself, and end up developing ridiculously extensive headcanons instead.

I dig the Dumat the Silent angle.
It's a curious title for the most powerful of the gods. Especially since his two most famous actions included whispering magical secrets to the Archons of old, and the Song of the Old Gods that drew the darkspawn to him.
Yea, and then there's the whole urging of Old Gods for their priests to go and invade the Gold City... All Very Suspicious! 
Like, false advertising, Papa Dumat. Seriously.
Well, the whole "Silence" angle likely shouldn't be taken too literally - I mean, it might simply mean a tremendous power of some sort (Blight?) or reign of one being, the creepy, ancient 'silent' song of which basically 'mutes' everything else.
Likely there's also a rather straightforward "song/music/sounds = life" and "silence = death" thing going on, which might might as well symbolize (foretell?) the utter destruction of realm (Thedas... and Fade?) as we know it.
Question is why this aims to accomplish? Either it's a relatively typical world domination scheme OR - like Promisers - those who work to destroy everything do it, cause they believe the world has to be reborn.
(oooor, like a good portion of manga/anime and Japanese games villains, they may just want to destroy the world to "save it" from itself. A motivation that always amused me

1) In theory, we have red, blue, and green lyrium. In (light) color theory, those three specific colors combine to make pure white light.
2) Silver (-white-) seems to be the color of pure liquid "raw" lyrium.
3) The colors also correspond to the infamous ME endings... which may be a hint about their respective sources.
Red (Destruction), the blood of the Sun
Blue (Control), the blood of the Earth
Green (Synthesis), the blood of.... Something Else? Possibly something fundamentally connected to Solas / the veil?

Why Does Dorian turn in to Sweeney Todd with a Mustache? 
So I am trying to finish up some of my Lavellans before the dlc comes out (Soon) and I just got the break up banter with Cole. Usually I choose the sad dialogue but this time I went for a the angry response as this Lavellan is a bit more fiery. Instead of Solas replying with "You cannot heal this Cole, please let it go" he says "You cannot heal this Cole, please let her carry her anger in peace". This is new to me. Just though I would share. No I will go to my corner and cry.
