Winter is coming. Oh wait, it already came.

Quoting someone on twitter... "Dwarven/Deep Roads/Blight/Wardens DLC Confirmed!!!"
Everything is definitely pointing in the direction we thought, yes.

Maybe.
EVERYTHING CONFIRMED.
UGH. Teasing is fine when you know you're getting some in the next 10 min. not like...3 long weeks of obvious hints.
BUT - to not be a total funkiller - YES DEEP ROADS. YES ARCHITECT. YES DWARVES!
I am pretty stoked.

IF THE ARCHIETECT IS BACK I WILL BE SO HAPPY.
IF THE KEEP UPDATES TO ASK WHAT THE FATES OF VELANNA AND SIGRUN ARE I WILL BE SUPER HAPPY.
At this time I'll take anything that gets me back in the game, I got nothing to play at the moment ><

We're hearing reports of Increased seismic activity around Thedas... #DAI
Holy ****, let it be the Titans please. Or like, activity under Val Royeux and the whole freaking city sinks into the ground and vomits out an ancient dragon and 200 giant stone people.

I thought the Titan thing was like a joke....

There's an EA press conference at 10 CET tomorrow at Gamescon. One of DA devs tweeted about it some time ago (https://twitter.com/...806316502228992)... I assume it's because there MAY be something interesting stuff they want to announce ![]()
The EA conference is at 4am local time. I will have to wake up to whatever is announced.
10 am Paris time? Yay!
I think it's 11 pm if paris and stockholm are the same IIRC... darn.
EDIT: forget to check if it was 10 am or pm, so 11 am for me x)

I don't know how I would feel about destroying the second largest city in Thedas, that's asking for an invasion from the imperium.
I thought the Titan thing was like a joke....
It might be, but if the Canticle of Exaltations, Dagna's vision and the whole business with the Transformers jokes in that one codex are anything to go by, there's a whole slew of crap we do not know about the dwarves.
Invasion from the Imperium? or more like "WELCOME TO THE IMPERIUM?" It's all in how you look it at!!!

Trade the cesspit that is Val Royeaux for submission to the imperium... tough choice...

Nah, they're going to be too busy with an invasion from the Qunari, methinks. The portents of the Maker's return are getting ticked off the list one by one, it's apocalypse time.
I feel like everyone just hates Orlais because 1) French and 2) Everyone here are elves.
How do you guys think Solas would feel about what Merrill does/tried to do in DA2?
I've thought about this.
As I recall, Merrill is trying to rediscover the lost magics of the ancient elves. I'm not sure she's even really interested in the actual truth of what happened, she just wants to recreate the eluvian to help the dalish people. I think Solas would approve of her wanting to help but I'm not so sure he would approve of how she goes about it. Also, with regards to Merrill's dealing with the demon - I don't think Solas would approve of that as Merrill seems to be messing around with things she doesn't really understand and taking risks that could ultimately prevent her from achieving her goal (i.e. being possessed by the demon).
So in short, overall I think Solas would disapprove - not so much of Merrill's goals but of her methods.

I love orlesians, they have such a beautiful language. I keep a tube from my dungeon just so I can hear their beautiful screams...

So you're saying the tevinters can't multi task?
And it is a fact universally known that everyone hates the French...and elves. So I let you imagine what French elves must endure!
Well they got the chevaliers come by to visit them in the alienage, so they got that going for them.
So you're saying the tevinters can't multi task?
Well, there's the possibility they could be dealing with a slave rebellion at the same time. That might do the trick. I'd totally play that game.

I don't dislike Orlais because it's french. And the last I checked I didn't have pointy ears (or do I?!).
I dislike the Game. And the pretentious nobles. I don't dislike Orlesians because they mistreat elves because EVERYONE mistreats elves (except the qunari but that's another can of worms). I also in general dislike imperialistic tendencies which is why I'm less fond of Gaspard and one of the reasons I also dislike the Qunari.
I'm kind of rambling but honestly I wouldn't really want to see Val Royeux destroyed.
