This is all not to say I don't find those world states interesting. I'm a realist. I would love to sit down and talk things out over tea, but sometimes they don't work. And I do think the Orlais choice - though the quest was a bit lacking - is the MOST interesting in the game as it sets the stage politically for the next game and they can be INCREDIBLY different. There is NO right or wrong. There is cons/pros to all the choices. The celene/briala option is romantic and idealistic to me - its stability relying almost completely on the stability of that relationship which was on the rocks. Celene - as shown in game - has trouble holding onto power and keeping the nobles in check. That's always bad. But she is not interested in war. She is interested in peace.
Gaspard - is a realistic option. He will be indebted FOREVER - moreso than Celene - to the INquisitor. He has a loyal army and is good at war. That is a skill in THAT world. It is an important skill. And you have NO idea what's coming. BUt he is expansionist. That has a way of imploding in on itself and causing economic issues in the region.
