I am like that too except that I also love Earl Grey. There have been some versions that I didn't love as much. Bigelow's is really delicious though.

Hmm.. I think he would become enraged at first, yelling and asking why someone would ruin delicious cookies with tea. But when you check in 5 minutes later, you'll find him eating them anyway while sobbing softly.

Strange indeed. Earl Grey is a rather common tea...
Have you ever tasted matcha? I had a cup once when I was in Japan. Can't say I really liked it, too...grassy (does that make sense?). But it's an absolute delight in pâtisseries. They put it in all their desserts there, with sweet beans. Yummy!

Well those Earl Grey cookies still have one positive side concerning Solas: for once he'll have something in common with Sera!

You're not alone, mate. I enjoy most teas save for Earl Grey. Just cannot learn to like it no matter what.

(nothing against lemons or lemon juice per se, but for me tea + lemon juice = blasphemy!!!)

I wish I liked earl grey more than I do. If only so I could tell my kettle "Tea, earl grey, hot," whenever I boil it. 

 

I don't mind french earl grey or lady grey teas though. They're basically earl grey but with sweeter things like cornflowers or rose mixed in. They soften the flavour a bit, it's quite nice.

 

Even so, my heart belongs to a strong Russian Caravan or fine Japanese gyokuro most days.

Macha is the best, I wish it were cheaper to buy. I adoooooore Japanese green teas. There's a store in the closest city from me which sells Japanese green teas, so every few months I go stock up on sencha, gyukuro, houjicha... so good.

This is me with coffee flavoured things. Especially coffee chocolates in a selection box. I'll eat all the other ones, hoping there will be some weirdo out there who likes the coffee filled sweets and will leave me all the fruit cream/caramel fillings. Of course, instead you go back to the box and find that only coffee and/or Turkish Delight left. Then, a few hours later, your sat eating them even though they taste awful, just because you wouldn't be able to look yourself in the mirror if you were the sort of person to throw out chocolate.

Don't worry, I know one of my friends absolutely hates lemon in ANYTHING she eats. All because the medicines she took as a kid were all lemon-based XD

Which is what I find amusingly ironic - a lot of people like Earl Gray, but twitch their noses at other types of tea. And I'm the opposite of that

I haven't, yet. I do know quite a few delicious blends with sencha (basically green tea) and bancha that I can get on local market

Lady Gray happens to be my sister's favorite tea

 

Oh, if I could only give more likes. Russian Caravan is awesome - I love 'smokey' flavor/aftertaste and, by extension, 'smokey' teas. 

 

Sadly, however, the blend I was usually buying (from store I visit regularly that had this tea) suddenly changed very drastically and is not as delicious as it was I did find a "replacement" of sort in Panyong Golden Needle. More delicate, but still kinda pleasantly 'wooden'... if that makes sense

 

 

But...green tea with lemon juice is the ultimate detox drink!

 

Haha, the green tea with lemon may not "offend' (I kid of course, if someone likes it, have at it ) me as much as the typical tea people in Poland drink - which is usually 'meh'-quality black tea, not very strong, treated with lemon while it's still very hot (not the most healthy thing from what I know).

I was just being facetious XD But I like my green tea with a squeeze of lemon any day.

 

Not many people put lemon in their tea anyway, at least not in regular tea. Green tea seems to take it better. And I doubt putting lemon in whaever tea Solas dares to try will make it any better for him.

I wouldn't flog anyone who doesn't like tea. It's sometimes an acquired taste and sometime just.. (Abelas voice:) not for you. (Not for any of you.)

I love it though! And Coffee! Coffee flavored sweets are amazing! And Matcha frappuccinos are so good. Sorry...I have probably had too much caffeine today. 

 

I usually can only drink coffee if it's drowned in milk and all kinds of additions (cinnamon! Yas!).

 

Also: chai latte/masala chai is DIVINE. I can drink it all day.
