Bull.

I believe that, since Elper put so much of his time into animating that romance, it's only right to ride the Bull with a Cadash.

^This would be my answer as well.

(<--points to spunky dwarf gal avatar, who IS taking that ride. ;) )

It's not just that I love the dwarf related material (it is nearly equal with my love for elfy-things), but I can't help but suspect that that helps cement my beliefs (hopes) that we will get at least one more DLC after this one. B)

I imagine there'll be a lot of banter, because you're really in a nice confined area so there's not much else going on besides walking, talking, and fighting.

I haven't got my Cadash playthough going yet.  I love playing mages and have found non-mages quite hard to use in DAI so I'm putting it off.  But she's going to be a Bull riding rogue with red hair.

Pls. Dwarves are clearly superior to elves. They have even mastered the art of wearing shoes.  :P

I need to stop bringing him with all my inquisitors.

This is possible? ;)

I just recently worked out a concept for a Seramancing Trevelyan mage who will not be bringing Solas.  She'll spend her time with her mentor, Vivienne and Cass/Varric and of course, Sera.

I actually really love the dwarves.  I got all feelsy in the hissing wastes with Varric and the paragon quest. Also the deep roads quest in Origins remains the MOST well-written in the entire series IMHO.  (not as well IMPLEMENTED...but...).  I'm super excited for more.

I would totally play my Trev who is un-romanced in game (IN SPIRIT SHE IS SAMSON'S) but that would take too dam long

DW Rogue! Seriously. For whatever reason (probably all just in my head  ), it works sooo freakin' well, on a Cadash. And has been the most fun I have had with DW daggers in this game. (Should be noted, that I tend to prefer Rogues, in DA games. It was split fairly evenly with mages though, in DA2 - dat "Fist of the Maker" <3 )

So I'll probably just work off the save post-break up.  So...awkward adventures with the ex ROUND 2!!

Yesss. Sophia Lavellan, I'm not done torturing you yet

I tend to enjoy playing DW rogues more (and DAI already has two archers) so that's what I was going to roll.

Hmm, my Lavellan already is a DW rogue. But she is assassin speced. Maybe I should try another one for Cadash? I have trouble having fun with warrior for some reason.

Just saw the new DLC trailer, and I'm super hyped about it but... Please tell me it's gonna connect to Solas ._.

I've never played warrior in these games. It's sort of....boring, especially since so many games have you as a warrior or soldier type. I'm DW rogue about 90% of the time and mage the rest. My canon Lavellan is DW rogue assassin and mage Lavellan (created in the shadow of my Solas feels) is taking Rift Mage to be a badass combo team. I hear Tempest is really fun.

My Trev mage will be different in character and go KE.

@ HIYA DELPHINE!

It may??? It's not post-game if that's what you were asking. It can be played at anypoint in the game after you get to skyhold.  So that's a bit disappointing. But BUT it may point to more things that will lead to solas.

Ok so it's NOT the DLC we're all waiting for, but it has potential to be great anyway! Thanks for the heads up ;D

And yeah, long time I didn't visit, brb, going to backtrack this thread! (lolno)

I'm planning on making my Cadash a DW rogue since my Lavellan is an archer rogue. This should be interesting.

As for classes, I tend to play either warriors or rogues and not so much mages (though my canon Hawke is a mage and I did enjoy playing a mage in DA2). My male Trevelyan is a 1H warrior and as far as gameplay goes, he's not as much fun to play compared to my Tempest archer Lavellan (but that's just me). 1H warrior seems much more enjoyable in DA2 IMO.

I LOVE Tempest, both Archer and especially DW. My Trevelyan is an absolute killing machine!

(also got a Trev mage-to-be-KE ;))

I refuse to play as a warrior until they bring back DW warrior. Having my little Brosca swish about two longswords nearly as tall as her was so worth it.

Until then, arcane warriors / knight-enchanters are basically my bread 'n butter. I occasionally switch to a bow just for fun.

I really wish I had a pre-breakup save that wasn't so many hours back that I would have to do the shards all over again. :pinched: I did JoH post-breakup, but wondered the whole way through if there was any romance content that I was missing out on.

Then again. I keep feeling like this DLC would be better post-game, so who knows what I'll do. I guess I have a week to do everything over again and just stop before talking to Solas post-ToM...

Grumble.

Playing as a Dwarf and not using an axe/maul should be a criminal offence.

I'm always a Dwarf/Elf in these games. Humans are always the completely average Jack of all trades, and I find it boring tbh.

Human god- Even if it does exist it doesn't do anything

Elven gods- Evil/corrupt mages scheming and fighting for more power

Dwarf whatevers- Paragons and potentially Titans

Yay for SP DLC but...ugh, the Deep Roads.  They were mercifully short in DA2, but they were painful in Origins.  So many interminable brown tunnels.  At least they look more interesting in Inquisition.  I'll probably wait for all of you to weigh in on it before buying; I have to reinstall Inquisition and all the mods at this point :P

I have to say - I think it's a good thing I did stay all night long and even after nap I feel a bit drowsy, because with the news of SP DLC delivered (after SO many weeks of merciless teasing!) AND conformation of more content coming sometime in the future, I feel that with more energy I'd start walking on walls!

SABLE! :D <3

As for the Deep Roads, I actually quite enjoyed them in Origins for some reason, so I'm very excited that we're finally going to visit them again. (DA:I was seriously lacking in the Deep Roads department.) :P

YAY DLC!!! :wizard:  *celebrates with tea*

I did like the Deep Roads in DAO but it was a bit grueling after the first time through it. I think DAIs look really fun from what they showed though.

Also, I drew a thing! It was my first time using a tablet!  :D
