I just got a thought that Solas is going to be our Morrigan-like love interest this game. He'll help us in the beginning, have mysterious motives throughout, and once he gets what he wants, he'll disappear at the end. He also might have a connection to some immortal, otherworldly being whose nature won't be fully explained.

Also, for some reason I swear i saw a screen of Solas fighting while wearing that pauldron thingy he wears in the trailer... Did I dream it up? Am I crazy (a possibility)? I can't seem to find it anywhere, so maybe I'm mis-remembering what I saw in the excitement post Gamescom demo/new trailer.
