Like 30 minutes.
Solas has now had 2 lines if you're interested.
Did he happen to take his shirt off while speaking either of those two lines? ![]()
What are we thinking of the DLC so far?
I had no plans to buy it straight away but am feeling all 'sod it' today. Turns out that is a waste because it's not out here until tomorrow.

Now I'll have to find some other way to vent today's rage. Like kicking a wall.

Is it after you find out he wasn't a Warden. I want there to be jokey/mean comments 'OH hey, WARDEN *said pointedly* Blackwall, you sense all those darkspawns yet??? YOUR SENSES MUST BE TINGLING!'
I love making fun of barntroll.
hehehehe....barntroll. ![]()

Though in his defense, darkspawn are smelly. He could just take a big old whiff of Deep Roads and be like, "There. SENSES. Assquisitor." ![]()
I suppose if I ever wanna hear his dialogue, I'll have to bring him along in Lavellan's game. Adaar merrily left him to the tender mercies of the chevaliers.
BTW saw this on Tumblr and apparently Solas is 6 feet tall, according to the game code, while all the other elves are about 5'4".

I guess that explains the two Solavellan artworks I posted earlier showcasing the height differences.
Soooo... he's only slightly taller than I am
(5'11''), while other elves are about as tall as my sister/mom. Strange, but it doesn't look that way in game. I frikking TOWER above my sis/mom (and most women and a pretty decent amount of men here too, lol).
Strange things are happening with body models and their heights sometimes though. In the Winter Palace, I always notice that Cullen looks shorter than usual - recently took my (male) warrior there and he seemed a head shorter, even though there's supposedly no height variation, as those are same body models. Strangely enough, there's little to no difference in Skyhold.

TBH I never really thought much on Solas' actual height but hearing that he's about 6 feet tall is kind of a surprise for me. I mean, dang, I knew he's tall but I guess I didn't expect him to be that tall. ![]()
Yes, Cullen did seem to look very tiny at the Winter Palace. The height on the body models seem to change often so it's hard to tell how tall each character is sometimes. ![]()
EDIT: Speaking of Solas' height, if he's 6 feet tall, then how tall are these Sentinels then? xD

I know as a savvy buyer i should always wait to see if its value is worth its cost. but i am all about dwarven lore so I want to impulse . LOOK HOW INDUSTRIOUS DWARVES ARE!
I haven't slept yet.
Sooo.. my computer had a meltdown and I lost all of my save files (and my elf who I seem unable to recreate. Seriously, Bioware, we need face codes).
As I am starting classes next week and I no longer have my Solas PT, I'm going to wait until I hear whether Solas features prominently in any DLC before purchasing it.
Long story short, does anyone know, yet, if Solas has a major role in this DLC?

Solas' height definitely looks different in different places. I really like that Lavellan and Solas don't have that much of a height difference in most scenes.
I'm just under 5'6" but my grandmother and dad's sisters are all around 5ft tall so I kind of understand how you feel. ![]()
I think that the character heights are "variable" because some of them tend to sink into the ground. You can observe this in game sometimes. Their feet sinks into the floor making them appear shorter than they actually are.
I am curious. Does this mean Elves and Humans are about the same height now ? If so, that's a shame. One of the draw for playing Elves for me was that they were shorter than Humans.

Same here! Before Dragon Age, I was not specially fond of elves, so I was set to do a human, and then I noticed the short elves and "ooooh that's me alright" XD

I imagine there is overlap. There will be 5'4" tall humans, and if that's average size for an elf then it stands to reason there will be humans and elves that are the same size. You get much smaller than that with elves and then suddenly you're playing a hairless dwarf. Solas is much bigger than modern elves though, so the same is probably true of other ancient elves.

Yes. Professor Kenric is a good example of this. If you look at him, he is no taller than Josephine. Its probably why I am not very fond of playing the male human Inquisitor. They look too buff and too big, especially if you want to play as a mage.
I've finished it already, still a couple of side quests to do.
Lore people will probably love it, but I thought it was kinda disappointing.
DON"T SAY ANYTHING. IT'S AT 95% FINISHED I AM ABOUT TO PLAY IT

Any interesting lore revelations that you can share ? Under the spoiler tag or via PM ?
Come on, Origin... be nice and give us DLC... Come on... ![]()

Yay! You came back!

How so? Too short? Not enough dialogue?
(Spoiler tags please, for folks who don't wanna know)
Did it have shards?
