I'd think Varric and Cole might have some good observations, though I havent tried with them. Wouldn't bother taking Blackwall though, he said almost nothing. Cass had the odd comment.

On second thought, I am actually considering bringing Varric instead of Dorian but Bianca needs some love in the upgrade department first. Equipping everyone at the moment and ditching some of the cold resistance gear from JoH.

Yeah I downloaded all these blackwall mods just so he can look very attractive to me almost to the point of wanted to romance him and now I can't use it because there is no reason to bring him to the deep roads.

I think that's to be expected. It's not a "story" DLC in the sense that it pushes anything forward so why expend the money on VA when it's not going to be much.

I dunno, the companions chipped in occasionally during Jaws of Hakkon.  Do they talk even less than they did in Jaws?
 

Yeah I downloaded all these blackwall mods just so he can look very attractive to me almost to the point of wanted to romance him and now I can't use it because there is no reason to bring him to the deep roads.

I tried to do that, but I can't unsee the beard and pringles mustache.  Blackwall will forever have a beard full of smurfs in my mind, no matter what's in-game.

I have a question for anyone who's done with the DLC: Do I need one person of each class in the party to beat it? Or can I get away with bringing only mages and rogues?
