Does anyone else's game crash when

they try to investigate the pile of corpses in the Darkspawn Warrens not far from the lift down to the next level?

I get 1 second of the cutscene and the game crashes, modded and unmodded.

 

(Haven't played any further than this yet, no spoilers in any answers please)

Yes, I'm having the same issue. Tried fast traveling to skyhold, taking the lift and coming back... nothing. I can't proceed. Some people loaded a save before the fight, beat the darkspawn again and it worked for them. My most recent savefile before the battle is from 2 hours ago, I don't feel like loading it now. Probably tomorrow

Welp, loading previous save and fighting the darkspawn again still results in a crash. Worth the try. Thanks for the feedback. guess I'll just have to wait on a fix

Edit: When I start the game I get a screen prompting me to download it but there's no way to actually do it, sony, wtf?

A couple of people over in the chat room were having that problem. They also had mods and removed them. I dont have any mods and had no oroblems. I'm not sure what fixed it for them though.

For those of you who have finished, does it seem matter when you play Descent?  Jaws had a few lines referencing Corypheus's fall, and IMO made more sense as post-game.

I played before my end game and got a few things like "don't die before you defeat cory" etc.

I wound up bringing Cole as my party member and it's a good choice so far. But I haven't played much at all and will in fact probably restart it tonight due to some other crap that happened.
