I'm only a little way through, but I've brought Sera, Dorian, and Iron Bull along as my party, and I'm not regretting it. Sera's a good choice - given that she hates darkspawn, and has fought them before, she has a couple of things to say. Dorian, is, well, Dorian - complained about the lack of elevator music on the way down. Bull has also contributed a couple of things too.

I play without mods and aside from a single instance of game failing to load I've had no problems whatsoever.

works fine if the mods are up to date or some are just fine as patch 6 daimods. download the latest mod manager 0.56 that came out last night. You only need to remerge them.

 

As always, not all mods play nicely so install them slowly.

Althoooough... did you notice that he was quite pushy about exploring Deep Roads?

Like... he's not overt about it, but it's like he realllllly wants IQ to go there and explore... Maybe that's his way of sharing secrets of the world, even if he himself won't directly reveal it - making people witness or discover these things? Eh, dunno. Either way, he is his usual hidden self ;P

Lyrium is alive cause Titans. The Blight corrupts anything living. Red Lyrium = blighted Titan.

 

My question is why the Old gods are the hive mind of the blight and not the giant massive minds living underground....there is a hierarchy. Just no sure what the order is exactly.

I've had a thought. What if there is only one Titan, and that Titan is Thedas itself? And the red lyrium is corrupting not just everything in Thedas but itself as well? And the future of dragon age is going to be about how the world becomes tainted and sick and we have to save it and...

 

Yeah, no. I got nothing really. I just like the idea of the world being alive. A little like Dagna says, big as a mountain, or maybe I was the mountain.

 

Also, anyone else excited about mage-dwarfs? I like the idea of lyrium-infested dwarfs being pure, I think it suggests that dwarfs used to be as magical as everyone else, but something happened and they became less than they where, impure.

 

Connections to Sandal's profecy maybe? The magic will come back, all of it.

Maybe the earth is alive, yes, and is protected by many "titans", and like you say, the blight is slowly infecting more than just darkspawn and dragons, and all parts of the earth will begin to be infested and die off. I'm picturing that scene in Fable where you went back to the area where you we're born on the first game and it's all creepy and abandoned and half submerged in a swamp and it was a lovely peaceful farmland before.

Never mind it's late and my brain hurts after that pretty little liars finale.

Anyone thinks it's significant that lyrium/Titan's magic is BLUE, like the ancient elfy magic? What about elvhen immortality and godliness is also linked with 'purity'? Anyone noticed that the notes that say of ancient skirmish with Sha-Brytol, that kinda implies that they're not used to seeing their own.. well... dying?

Does every race in Thedas has its own Titan and they all worked together to... well... create Thedas?? Kinda like Aedra did to crate Nirn in TES series?"
