What I want to know is who in this thread keeps reporting it and why, for the love of god, do you NOT JUST TELL US, if it makes you uncomfortable? I don't understand why you wouldn't just ask for them to stop- they are reasonable, nice people, and by bypassing the usual methods of communication (ie- asking), I can't help but think the actions must be out of spite.
I agree it's better to PM the person first, or even complain on the thread.
(But let's not go down a slippery slope of suspicion and war on each other like the elvhen. IMO, because only images have caused people to be banned, it's probably a mod scanning the thread.)
Interestingly Weekes confirmed that he would never have Solas use 'da'len' in a romantic context.
TBH, any time I see Solas as a teacher or hahren in a romantic context, it makes me feel uncomfortable too. Sure, there's an age difference of 2k+ years, but in the context of the relationship, I think he sees Lavellan as his equal. Just my headcanon, I guess. (I do like some smut though.)
Is it bad that I find that hilarious?
If how you behave toward pixels is a moral imperative, I am actually the worst person. Across 10+ years of gaming, I've Force-brainwashed my party members to evil, eaten souls (yum), defiled a benevolent god's corpse, murdered my love interest, betrayed more than one ally, and committed a few acts of genocide
I've re-instated the circles and made people Tranquil. I even tried to make Storvacker Tranquil. I'm clearly a monster.
I had a co-worker once who was an old lady that did actually get together with other older ladies to knit or play cards or whatever. The stories she told me...
Not a one of them would have batted an eye at spread-eagle Lavellan being "worshipped" by Solas. At most they would have made comments on his ears and what else they might be good for.
Yes to that! In my teenage years I sang in a women's choir which had several old ladies. They made dirty jokes all the time, and during one practice one of them enthusiastically described to me the entire plot of Eyes Wide Shut with enough detail to make me, the inexperienced adolescent, veeery uncomfortable.
