Jon Curry is perfect for Cadash and Adaar, I cannot play a Dwarven smuggler and Qunari merc as being anything other than snarky, who enjoy basking in the role of cultural outsider rather than attempting to compete along with the humans and elves for the coveted title of most uptight race in Thedas.

Yeah, I was originally going to go for a curt, gruff, gets-the-business-done sort of character, but he's evolved into a snarky bastard who doesn't give a damn what people think, and an outrageous flirt to boot. I blame Jon Curry's voice acting for that completely. It's great.
I think that transition means that I'm edging towards Dorian, although I can sort of see my Adaar constantly teasing Cassandra in a sweet way and only getting [disgusted nosie] and Cassandra Slightly Disapproves in response.
Dorian-mancers - does completing Champions of the Just mean that you lose out on lots of dialogue with Dorian? I've done In Hushed Whispers loads of times but never actually done the Templar quest - and besides, I can't see my Adaar letting the mages walk free, or at least not so early on in his character development :\ So I figure I'll try out the Templar questline instead. I prefer Dorian to Cole but you know, too much of a good thing.
Trevelyan: I'm the Maker's chosen!
Lavellan: I'm a super special halla princess!
*beat*
Cadash and Adaar: *wander off for a pint*
Everyone feels like a lot less of a drama llama in my Adaar's game. It's like the whole setting absorbs Jon Curry's chill, snarky attitude
Cadash and Adaar would be bros4ever if they existed in the same timeline.
So I was researching some reference for Fenris (my DA2 elfboy) and I noticed Matt's concept art for him had the whole 3 circle thing that we also see with Solas' frescos and the whole three eyes on the Tower card thing. Not necessarily connected, just thought I'd share for interest's sake. Groups of three is a super common design element so I'm not blowing it out of proportion, I think it's just neat since Fenris' name being like Norse for Fenrir and the whole wolf allusion there... plus you know. Elfy things (well, Vint appropriated Elfy things)...

Completely unrelated, but it's just struck me - why does Fenris not wear shoes? Yes, he's an elf, but he was brought up in a human household, not a dalish clan.
