*entire mess of all sorts of feelings pours out*
Is that Abelas' armor with fur? *drools*

He just can't shake the hobo woodsman look, even if he does take on something more Elvhen. I think Vivienne needs to take Solas for a makeover and teach him less is more in this case. ![]()
Oh snap......can you imagine though how Fen'harel....this ancient being who has tried before to fix the world at least once before that we know of...now has people finding him saying "Hey, can you help us fix this? I mean, I know you have had SUPER bad PR for like, 1000 years and everyone hates you but you can fix this right?"
I wouldn't be surprised if no matter what the relations were with the Inquisitor......I can foresee some snark and sass about this.
And maybe a huge emotional meltdown. Solas mentions in conversation with a rival Inquisitor elf that he is tired of trying to help.
@.@ There has been a hint at some character having an emotional break down in a tweet before. And I don't know if that happened already somewhere else.
I'm scared now.
This trailer just made me dislike the Qunari and their Qun even more...As well as the nobility and their BS...

None of the already released DLCs featured anything remotely like that.
I wonder if this is where we will also get those new songs Elizaveta said she had been recording.

I think that might be Bull, though? Can't imagine he's going to take full-on war with the Qunari well, no matter how the Chargers quest ended.
Solas completely losing his cool would be amazing to see, though. ![]()
Translations of the splash screens for the curious:
Reassemble your team.
Stop the Qunari threat.
Choose your legacy.
Oh dear. Is this real life? QUESTIONS? Understatement of the century, buddy!!!
They might as well make it official now... I wonder how that got "leaked" anyway?
I still have to decide if my canon Lavellan drinked from the well or not. I have a save right before the temple of Mythal that awaits me. Damn it. I need to know if it will impact this DLC and how!

Well, wolves do tend to live in the wilderness...

I wish instead we could hear Solas sing...
This just made me so glad I saved the Chargers on every playthrough. Seriously the Qunari get no sympathy from me now. Not even from my Qunari playthrough I just started.
But yay SOLAS! Though now my Qunari playthrough is on pause for my Lavellan playthrough.
Did anybody else notice how ominous he says that last line? The way he turns? His body language is making me think too much. This is going to be sweet and really damn bitte

I know. As sad and it would be and I would definitely cry....I am curious what the emotional breakdown of an ancient elf would be like.
Plus total chance for Lavellan to swoop in and hug him.
Solas> I presume you have questions.
Inqusiitor> Actually, no, I'm good. I was a little worried about you a couple years back when you took me someplace special, kissed me like you meant it, and then broke up with me in the worst way possible. You seem to be okay, so I'm just going to turn around now and go back to Skyhold.

He probably can't even shapeshift, he'll just progressively add more fur to his outfit until he transforms into a furry Stay-Puft man. "Do I look like a wolf now?" "No" <adds more pelts> "How about now"
Or wait, maybe his hair just grows really fast and every time he cuts it he goes "well, might as well add another pelt to my ensemble".
Maybe he trapped all the elven gods by burying them in pelts.
Pelts are the solution to everything.
More pelts.
MORE
PELTS!
Spoiler
Does anyone else see the striking similarities between the Mythal statue helm and qunari helms?
Is it just a coincidence or is there more to it, because I don't believe in coincidences...
well mythal/flemeth could turn into a dragon and qunari are said kinda to be descended from or in some way linked to dragons right? curioser and curioser
Aaand I missed the trailer. But these screenshots...omg Solas! And two years? Oh no no no. How dare he leave for such a long time? This is already too heartbreaking.
I hope the Inquisitor won't end up dead...

EA Spain;s YouTube channel uploaded it and just didn't set it to private or unlisted.
Ooooh, maybe we can be really angry at Solas when we meet him. I mean, he did break up with the Inquisitor and then just... left. That merits some anger, right?

By that point, I expect the Inquisitor will have so many other things to be angry about. Someone exercising their right as a person to break off a relationship has got to be pretty minor compared to the world coming down around them. ![]()
But if we do get opportunity to have some sort of romance talk, I'd be surprised if there wasn't some angry responses thrown in.

Well, two years on you'd be more or less over it, I think, but personally I'd still be angry at the lack of any explanation followed by a disappearance at a potentially critical moment.
Still think we probably seek him out for help. Some are speculating he's in leagues with the qunari, but that does not appear to be the case to me. The qunari spell out plainly why they want the Inquisitor dead. Instead, we might need help desperately to control the Anchor because the qunari and the enmity of both Ferelden and Orlais might doom us and all of the good (or bad) we've accomplished. Whether we find him early on or not until the end is another matter. And what he's actually up to, and whether he'll have even a modicum of warmth left for the Inquisitor, is quite another matter.
Eager to find out, wish we could preorder.
also personal opinion time (mine, my own, precious):
I am not at all worried about how BioWare will handle the romance aspects or about whether there can be a happy ending for Solavellan etc (altho if one is possible I obviously would be happy, if it's well-executed, which I'm sure it would be). on the solas-specific front, the little flash we saw of him was so epically achingly Solas - from what we saw of him (brief for sure I acknowledge) A] he's acting 100% how he should be (in my experience & interpretation of the char) B] the 'found him again' moment is like what I envisioned and C] the important things about his character plot-wise (true identity, role in the Breach, etc) are what is taking center-stage in his re-appearance. tl;dr he seems in-character and it's like how I imagined and I'm supremely confident that it will be Awesome. again: just my opinion
also this isn't solas-specific of course, but from the trailer the inquisitor can be angry and express generally-angry sentiments, which bodes well for me roleplaying in general (my Inquisitor is the angry aggressive type).
Fuuuu... I wonder if you have to summon him like you summon Mythal at her altar. Oh my god the potential for drama.
It occured to me too this might happen. Damn Fen'Harel. It looks like Inqui is in some sort of temple. I am so here for this drama!
Lavellan: "The people of Thedas are pissing me off, Qunari won't give me a break and my hand is trying to kill me! Fen'Harel! I CHOOSE YOU!" (Pokemon theme plays)
Solas:

Lavellan: Um...

Trust Bioware to release a trailer during the two days holiday I had planned ![]()
