Also we can look forward to new skills.
This seems to be a new rogue skill, it's very compelling visually

Anyway... anybody wonders who this TRESPASSER could be?
Is it the Qunari? Inquisitor? Solas?
It seems we may be in the CrossRoad ,so Qunari and Inqui and friends would be trespassers.
It was an elven dimension.
I wonder if we'll find a bunch of surviving ancient elves..(and not just Solas).and another temple.
Anyway... anybody wonders who this TRESPASSER could be?
Is it the Qunari? Inquisitor? Solas?
I think it might be the Qunari. Or the Inquisitor. I don't think it's Solas ![]()
Another thing I found interesting.
the Saarebas magic seems special, more so than what we've seen in the past
what's even more interesting, is the same type of magic seems to be behind what is affecting our inquisitor after the mark starts acting up, the "lightning type" hold as seen here
I love theorizing ![]()
The devs once said it took somewhere around 2.5-3 years. So Trespasser probably happens in 9:44 or 9:45.
I thought it came out that this was a misquote and David was referring to how long it took to develop the game?
That trailer leak.
I died.
I need to hurry up and get Lavellan out of The Descent DLC. LMAOOOOO

Well Solas has been busy turning on all the damn eluvians hasn't he.
So, your hand is trying to kill you. Again.
You're basically in trouble by everyone. I cant see my king Alistair getting to pissy with the inquisition though, he of all people should understand how it goes....
But maybe they are mad bc the Qunari are threatening to invade and of course that puts Orlais and Ferelden into danger ...
I wonder if her hand is trying to kill her because Solas is no longer there to contain it and after being used so much without his "healing wards" it's finally breaking apart.
Anyway... anybody wonders who this TRESPASSER could be?

Probably the Inquisitor. We seem to be going to a temple of Fen'harel... For all we know, we're heading to Arlathan. Even if you're Dalish, that is not YOUR home.

I think it was in reference to the Solas romance or something?
In any case, 2-3 years makes sense to me because of all the traveling we do in-game. It takes weeks if not months to go from Skyhold to many of those locations. Maybe it's slightly shorter with a mount, or a boat, but a large chunk of time would still be taken up in traveling.
timeline query:
DA:I starts in 9:41
Trailer for Trespasser says it's been 2 years since the Inq was built into a group everyone can respect.
I take this to mean 2 years since defeating Cory/closing the Breach.
My question is do we have a figure for how long the maingame events took? About a year maybe?
About a year or so, yes. So this would put us around late 9.43 or early 9.44
Also curious to see the results of two years of leadership and troubles on everyone's headcanons when that happens. ![]()
thanks for feedback/info folks. I'd heard the 1 year estimate and the 2-3 estimate (and the potential correction) before. I prefer the 2-3 years due to like you said travelling Thedas so much.
humms BW clear this up I wanna know how old my Quiz is by Tresspass lmao
2-3 years was something David said off-hand on twitter but he was forced to take that back I think. Possibly because it would let BW have more flexibility with the storyline and DLC if they didn't have a date set in stone.

He did correct it later, yes. It was about three years to make. But people keep confusing this for the game timeline.

It appears that there's a strange power acting upon the Anchor. It's the same color we see in the trailer affecting one of he Qunari.
Interestingly - since color of given magic seems to be a THING in DA - it's the very same color the Uthremiel's "soul" has in Fade scene with Flemeth AND Solas' own vallaslin removal spell.
It definitely sounds like the line "Whatever happens to the Inquisition, the world needs you. ....I need you" is directed at Solas. Even an Assquisitor would view him as their only hope, if the anchor is actually killing them.
It's just going to be so much more painful for a Solavellan.
*spirals, squealing, into the sun*

I think the Inquisitor is permanently linked to Solas/Mythal now Well or not lol
I have a feeling he has to save her but at the same time he can't be trusted. I think the "I need you" is to him and her companions.

That's what I was thinking about too, especially as far as headcanons went, but I think the 1 year timeline makes more sense, IMO. So in this DLC, mine would be about 33 on that timeline.
Something else I find interesting
Given that
"Culturally, Qunari associate not having horns with being imposing or scary, and because of this Tal-Vashoth often decide to remove their own horns.[9] Likewise, Saarebas, the Qunari mages, have their horns removed to warn of their danger.[10]"
I wonder again what makes this particular Saarebas so special, much like his Female qunari master...
More intrigue... I wonder if this is all related to their assault on the inquisition and the inquisitor himself/herself like "circumstances of war" or whether these have deeper implications.
thanks!!:3 given the retraction/specification on twitter there I'll go with a year then.
Right, do you think people would mind if I just went into a coma for about a week? I'll get someone to walk the dog, promise.
Anyway... anybody wonders who this TRESPASSER could be?

Mentioned this a few pages back, but "trespasser" is also a potential reference to Shartan. Remember in DA:O when you meet the spirit posing as Shartan in the gauntlet? His riddle is as follows:
I'd neither a guest nor a trespasser be. In this place I belong, that belongs also to me.
(the answer is "home")
A few hours ago, the DA wiki page for Shartan was the first result for Dragon Age trespasser, which is how I remembered the riddle. ![]()
