Guys, I just want to point out, if you look at Solas' appearance in the new trailer (now officially released):

 

 

First off, that armor looks kickass to me.

 

Second, I think he's wearing the same skin tight, shiny pants Abelas does. XD

I'm glad for the new wardrobe. I dislike the beige pajamas as much as the next player, but I can't figure out how to mod DAI, so I'm glad for this option. (Especially now, since I JUST arrived at Skyhold in my "perfect Lavellan/Solas playthrough," so now I can enjoy a playthrough where my Inquisitor has pretty clothes all the way through. ^^)

 

I'm sad that this is the last DLC, but in a way I'm also relieved. No more guessing, no more worrying. I won't have to struggle between, "Should I play my 'canon playthrough' to the end so I can play the Hakkon/Descend/Tresspasser DLC right away? or should I wait in case more DLC's come out?" Now that I know, I don't have to wait anymore.

 

Oh, but Solas though! I'm totally going to go Molly Grue on his beautiful hiney.

 

Lavellan: *gasp* Can it be...? Where have you been...? Damn you, where have you been?!

Solas: I'm here now.

Lavellan: *laughs bitterly* And what good does that do me? Where were you a year ago? Two years ago? How dare you come to me now when I am this! *gestures to the hand that's "trying to kill me"*

I got to the part where one of the women said that they tried so hard to get across that Solas is very kind and sympathetic; that he cares about every living creature and how they're treated.

 

Considering how many people here in the BSN online steadfastly refuse to believe that he's anything but a villain who means harm (that he lied about caring about everything, including caring about people, just because he neglected to say who he was), I'm glad she made that clear. 

 

You know how some fans are. If a characters opposes or lies to the PC for any reason they can't stand that character. RPGs are not simply "the player chaarcter show" - or at least, that's not how BW rolls them.

 

Another thing that annoyed me were comments on DA:I's companions vs. the companions of other games. I think Inquisition's characters were some of the most interesting to date, and I get a little irritated by comments moaning that it'll never be as good as Origins. Look, Origins is also my favourite DA game for many reasons, but you're doing an Inquisition a disservice by dismissing its positives and overemphasising its negatives.

 

C'mon. The cast was diverse, well designed, had an array of different and interesting views on faith, politics, society, etc., were as funny/unique/interesting to talk to as any other BW game, and had some of the best romances BW's done to date. There are criticisms you can make - and I'm the first to be critical, usually, and I'd agree with you probably about the sparseness of banter or how distant some companions seemed compared to Origins - but there's also things to applause.

Its possible Morrigan is gone from Inquisition by then, and we won't find out the rest of that story until the next game.

I doubt they're revealing every single thing about this DLC. It may yet hold some secrets. Or she may pop back in DA4.

I think he meant that it already does.  The in-game effect is really subtle, though.  Non-Lavellans get these really odd, vaguely threatening shimmery figure-shapes that flicker in and out of view, while Lavellans get little happy fluffy seed-things floating in the breeze.

 

It's like the unnatural sense of dread we're supposed to feel outside Solas'an.  Great effect in theory, but tough to translate into game experience.

I thought you guys might be interested in this, which is found here. I'm kind of disappointed by it...And worried. If they do not let me continue, or even meant the romance with Solas I will lose it. Also, I am now glad I got up and watched the twitch stream even though I have had like 3-4hrs of sleep lol.

"How does Solas figure into all of this? 
If you’ve seen the ending, you know Solas is a special circumstance. I’m not going to promise that he rejoins the party and things are great, but he will make an appearance. I know people are excited about that. Solas remains an exceedingly complicated and enmeshed character in the world. In the course of the DLC, we’re not going to wrap up his storyline – that’s just way too complicated. But we can add a lot of texture and information to it, so it isn’t just this one note of confusion. Instead, it’s an opportunity to learn more about his situation in a way that we may be able to explore in future games. If there are future games.

So, Solas is a factor, but the epilogue isn’t about him? 
I would say no. You will certainly come away with a greater understanding of his situation by playing Trespasser, but it’s not just the Solas story. Instead, this is one where the crisis, the regrouping, a last hurrah, a chance to see your friends and followers, and Solas are all a part of it. Seeing how things turned out for Solas is just as much a part of the adventure as seeing how things turned out for Blackwall – it’s just that his plays out differently from the others."
