I think he meant that it already does. The in-game effect is really subtle, though. Non-Lavellans get these really odd, vaguely threatening shimmery figure-shapes that flicker in and out of view, while Lavellans get little happy fluffy seed-things floating in the breeze.
It's like the unnatural sense of dread we're supposed to feel outside Solas'an. Great effect in theory, but tough to translate into game experience.
Where is this? In the Crossroads? I've only gotten that far with my Lavellan, no others. I do remember that the humans in TME felt a sense of forboding about venturing off the path they walked. Like "Those fields are pretty but I feel like there's something dangerous out there that will get me if I leave the road." Or something. Been a while since I read my copy.
Are these shapes you mention akin to those purple glowing shapes that we see in the trailer? Those seem like elven sentinel-esque ghosts to me, for lack of a better term. Guessing guardians of some kind.
